yes, not only are the actual players r better, but the organization is cut above any team. Defense tactcs are etched into Italian footaball culture. Been like this for ever. Never going to change.

Thats the point. Remember how your spelling of the word Portuguese was? Catch my drift? Either way no matter how you spell it, the message is clear.
PS. Our boy Miguel is nasty as hell. Thats my point.

I love the fact that you keep giving me negative reps. I hope all my Portuguese brothers in arms see to it that you no longer troll our boards. Go open up a Canadian board of your own. Im done with this guy.

carvalho, miguel, andrade are very good defenders
meira stepped up his game and he surprised alot of ppl and seemed to get better as the tournament went on
but Nuno Valente is just garbage, he is the weak link of Portugal's defense we need a better left back.

Dont forget they played mighty Australia, and the mighty Ukraine.

I love Canadians. I trully do, You and my buddy Jec1 are good Canadians. Lots of our Portuguese posters are Canadian and I have a high respect for them. Look if you are really that strong in dissing me and other Portuguese posters you can go about doing that here, Mr. Hypocrit:

U r the 1 who seems to get an erection from me, all because u disagreed with an opinion of mine on the world cup. Get a fucking life and grow up. People are allowed to post where ever they like, including the Portugal forum, where they can disagree that Portugal and/or Ronadlo arent the best thing to happen to world football.
Take your own advice. Keep your non-sense where no1 will c it ie: Portugal forum.

Can I have a say in this? I think Ultra is trying to prove a point here. I think Portugal have progress Fairly well compared to Italy. I know the Italians have a Great Future and winning a WC is a great achievement, But I really do think Portugals time is arising sooner the later.
Euro 2008 is our time to shine. With the Amount of talent on the team I would have to say it's time For the boys to step up or get out.
Ultra/ Azzurri, Please mae a truce because there is no use in bickering over nothin!!!!

Certianly an interesting reflection on the World Cup from a country where football isn't as big a thing than in others.
The author also really captured the feeling of many people that Germany were the most exciting, and in most hearts and mind the best team.
" Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo's dribbling skills almost match his ability to take dives"
I think they've got it spot on.

Diving doesn’t begin and end with C.R. of course it's endemic throughout soccer and the question is what to do about it?
