ahh my bad my bad i meant yanagisawa as striker. geez i havent watched the j-league report in a little while now i better get back to that lol

so ono will start in the midfield with nakumra on the left and nakata in the centre? kanji though is a nice wing back. i really can see them progressing to the next round.

edit: just realized i made a bunch of spelling errors lol.

Just days before opening World Cup the Croatian squad is still recovering from the effects of an unidentified virus which has worked its way through the squad, team doctors said.

The Croatians, who are based in Bad Bruckenau, have fallen prey to the undetermined ailment, with Darijo Simic, Ivica Olic, Bosko Balaban, Dado Prso, Stjepan Tomas, Anthony Seric and Joey Didulica all falling ill.

This group has just gotten over the virus, with defender Darijo Srna reporting symptoms of nausea, high fever and headache

Japan boss Zico has criticized Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger for the heavy tackle during last week’s 2-2 draw in Leverkusen, which could rule Akira Kaji out of the World Cup finals.

"That was an absolutely disgraceful tackle,” said.

“Kaji got taken down really badly and there is no question in my mind that he [Schweinsteiger] should have been sent off. My heart goes out to the poor lad."

"I am still very worried about the situation. If it was only a light bruise he would be walking around okay but he is still in a great deal of pain so that shows you what a horrible foul it was,” Zico added.

“I have to just leave him in the hands of our doctors and hope for the best.”
