They are still ****, no real superstars bar Ballack and the goalkeeper.

Lol...as if "superstars" matter.
Anyway, Lahm (if he is fit), Podolski and Schweinsteiger will all be "superstars" by the end of it.

Brazil 02, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Denilson....
France 98, Zidane, Vieira, Henry, Trezeguet, Deschamps, Blanc, Desailly, Lizarazu, Thuram, Barthez...
Brazil 94, Romario, Bebeto, Dunga, Taffarel, Mauro Silva, Cafu, Marcios Santos...
You need superstars to win it.

To be honost, I'm pretty keen on Poland winning the group and going on to the quarter finals.. there qualifier games were top class (apart from the England ones where most of their key players were injured). They played better than England did in most of their games, especially considering the Poles 8-0 trashing of Azerbaijan and Englands 0-1 loss to Northern Ireland. Anyway, good luck to Poland and Germany - whom I think will go through. Besides, the Poles already beat Ecuador about 2 months ago.. 3-0 away wasn't it?

Can I go on as being the only person to think the Ticos will advance?'
Edit: I guess one of 5.

Poland are average....8-0 v Azerbaijan was a fluke just like the NI win over England...they mean nothing.
England gave Poland a doing even if the scoreline was only 2-1.

Podolski has been struggling (as have Koln), whereas Klose has been going through another of his hot streaks. I wouldn't be surprised if Klinsi picks Klose (of course in my book, both he and Podolski should be playing for Poland).
It is a testament to Lehmann's cuntishness that it is in fact possible for one to feel sorry for Oli. Has anyone in Germany considered that Kahn may be on steroids? He exhibits a lot of the classic armchair symptoms.
Klinsi made the better choice for Germany, unfortunately.
The German squad is going to have to be more Multi-Kulti going forward if it is to be successful, and this is one think that Klinsi seems to understand.
Although the old laws didn't prevent the likes of Basturk for playing for Germany, he and others have said that the fact their families couldn't get citizenship despite having been in the country for a long time (or even having been born there) did have an effect on their decision.
And then there is the impact of truly unpredictable events, like Deisler's mental crisis.
As much as I dislike the German national team, I genuinely like Klinsi as a person, and am sorry he is being attacked like this. He should be spending more time in Germany, but part of the reason he isn't is that Beckenbauer and his stooges at Bild are making life miserable for him in an attempt to deflect attention from their own inadequacies.

well germany just gave a complete asswhooping to luxembourg, 7-0, 2 for klose, 2 for podolski, 2 for neuville and 1 for frings, 3 strikers getting 2 goals each, not too shabby, granted luxembourg arent a great team but even so its an impressive scoreline, germany shouldnt be underestimated especially not in germany

Well Ecuador and Germany rise to the top....Poland will probably need to beat the Krauts to get through....such massive expectations from their fans, Wednesday will be a brutal match...Ballack could return though, I see Poland exit stage right.
