The manager should be sacked for not starting Messi, nevermind not bringing him on.

Good riddance, beating Germany is hard enough in a big tournament, leaving out your best player is totally insane, what was he thinking.

i saw that but im pretty sure thats not what it was intended as for a couple of reasons. firstly its illegal in germany so hed be pretty stupid to do it on live tv being aired worldwide. secondly hes polish and they suffered a lot in the war. thirdly, most germans arent nazis anyway and it wouldnt make much sense to do one. and i was told he did it with the wrong arm anyway altho im not sure if thats true or not.

Good to se Leman was yet again a yard off his line when saving penalties. When will the referees actually starting enforcing the law re spotkicks?

Germans proved to be as good as them over 90 minutes...you couldn't say Argentina were the best team in the tournament today atall.
Equally you say you were bored with Germany's football thus far...How? They scored and conceded exactly the same amount as Argentina and for the most part have played attacking football.
Both teams dived, shirt pulled, cheated...as bad as each other and overall not that bad.
Maxi was touched, but he still dived...he was looking for it and the way he wiggled his shoulders as he went down was hilarious....platoon. If that was a penalty then Ballack should have had one minutes before too.

Cruz slapped Frings, Frings punched Cruz; the tape is really quite clear on both points.
Neither "blow" had any force; they were slighly more violent that Figo's "headbutt" against Van Bommel, but I doubt that either left a mark on their "victim".
What is a bit strange is that the ref is a metre away from Frings and Cruz (as you can see above), but apparently had nothing in his report.
What is being reported here by journalists who have spoken to some of the Italy-based Argentines is that Borowski started the aggro by yelling "Fuck you" at the Argentines after the first penalty. Bierhoff seems to have become the focus of their discontent because they could semi-understand what he was saying (he was speaking Italian) and did not appreciate his efforts to calm them down.
