Wolves have denied reports that Sir Bobby Robson is to be unveiled as the successor to Dave Jones.
Robson reportedly agreed a two-year deal with the club after originally asking for a five-year contract.
But Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey denied the former Newcastle boss had agreed terms, according to BBC WM.
Moxey had earlier said he wants someone "with gravitas and experience of trophies" to replace Jones, who departed three weeks ago.
John Gregory, Gary Megson and Harry Redknapp have also been linked with the post, while South Africa's English coach Stuart Baxter was reportedly Wolves' first choice.
