Thumbs up Sir Bobby is the man.....

Sir Bobby Robson will today bounce back into football management when he is unveiled as Wolves’ new manager.

The former Newcastle and England chief has agreed a two-year deal with the Molineux club to replace Dave Jones.

Despite being 71, Robson originally asked for a five-year contract, but the Midlands club were only willing to tie him down until 2006

no he aint!

Wolves have denied reports that Sir Bobby Robson is to be unveiled as the successor to Dave Jones.

Robson reportedly agreed a two-year deal with the club after originally asking for a five-year contract.

But Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey denied the former Newcastle boss had agreed terms, according to BBC WM.

Moxey had earlier said he wants someone "with gravitas and experience of trophies" to replace Jones, who departed three weeks ago.

John Gregory, Gary Megson and Harry Redknapp have also been linked with the post, while South Africa's English coach Stuart Baxter was reportedly Wolves' first choice.
