Bromby makes £850k Hornets move
Watford have completed a £850,000 deal to sign Sheffield United defender Leigh Bromby on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
Bromby has struggled to hold down a first team place at Bramall Lane but he recently regained his place in Bryan Robson's side.
However the Blades have agreed to let the 27-year-old join promotion-chasing Watford and will receive an initial £600,000, with a further £250,000 based on certain criteria.
Bromby's agent Ricky Hill said of the move: "Leigh is excited at the prospect of joining Watford and helping them in their bid to win promotion to the Premier League."
