John-Joe's night to remember
THERE are not many players who can boast of scoring an international goal before breaking their duck for their club but John-Joe O'Toole can tonight (Tuesday).
The young Watford midfielder came off the bench to head home an injury-time winner for the Republic of Ireland Under-21's and secure a 1-0 victory over his side's Bulgarian counterparts.
O'Toole, who has been unfortunate not to score for the Hornets this season, met a fine right-wing cross from Eddie Nolan and headed back across the target to score Ireland's first goal of their campaign and register their first win in UEFA Under-21 qualifying.
