McAnuff: Aidy can improve my game
Watford winger Jobi McAnuff believes he can benefit from Adrian Boothroyd's "motivation skills" and become a better player as a result.
McAnuff has settled in quickly at Vicarage Road following his £1.75million summer move from Crystal Palace, helping the Hornets to nine points from their opening four Championship matches.
McAnuff said: "The motivation skills of the manager are a big, big thing for us.
"He is one of those people who has the ability to pick players up. This season, he can drive us on, and he doesn't accept below-par standards.
"That is something that will benefit me, and I am sure the boys who have played under him in the past would say the same."
