BOUAZZA EYES HORNETS EXIT
Skysports.com understands that Hameur Bouazza is ready to quit Watford.
It is believed the French-born Algerian international met with Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd and revealed his ambition is to return to the Premiership this summer.
Bouazza, who graduated through the youth ranks at Vicarage Road, feels he needs to remain in the top-flight.
A number of Premiership clubs are now believed to be tracking the 22-year-old and Watford are bracing themselves for bids.
The likes of Bolton, Fulham, Sunderland and Birmingham are all thought to be keeping close tabs on the situation.
I would be gutted if this is the case. No quotes though

He's a class player and I would be sad to see him leave. Hopefully someone will bid a stupid amount if he does want to go - I would say £6m at a minimum.

Aidy said there is interest in Hameur. Clubs are going the indirect route about it which I guess means are go through the player and twisting his head.
He doesnt want to sell him but you can never say never ala Ashley Young high bid.

Only a real good offer can send Bouazza away and I doubt any clubs do want to sign him for several millions.

why not? he was pretty decent in the prem.
can you name many or any players who can outpace / strength Toure over a long distance.
I think it will take at least £5 to take him. Considering a rb Baird is £3m

With a £5M tag on Bouazza I think he will play for Watford next season also.I really doubt a club will find him worth that.

Fulham and Portsmouth are Premiership clubs who follow him closely but I don't think none of them are willing to make a bid on £5M.

I cant see Fulham spending that now, they've got Cook.
Pompey have alot of money and Redknapp likes him. Bouazza best game of the season was against Pompey at home.
I cant see Bouazza being here at the start of the season. He wants to go. Clubs / Agents have been unsettling him.

Hameur Bouazza is hopeful Watford will not stand in his way should the opportunity to play in the The Premier League next season arise.
Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd stated on Tuesday that he would allow the Algerian international to leave Vicarage Road, but only if a club met his £5 million asking price.
That figure could prove prohibitive for a player who did not cost Watford a fee having come through the clubs youth ranks after earning a scholarship.
However, Bouazza - who managed five goals in 27 Premiership starts last season - is adamant he wants to secure a return to the top-flight if the chance presents itself and his agent has urged Watford to remain realistic over his price-tag.
"I am happy at Watford, but if the chance comes to play in The Premiership I have to take it for myself and for my family," Bouazza told skysports.com.
"I am flattered that there are Premiership clubs following me and, after last season, I would like the opportunity to play at that level again."
The player's France-based agent Farid Ayad remains optimistic a deal in the interests of all parties can be brokered.
"We hope that Watford don't price Hameur out of a move to the Premiership," Ayad told skysports.com.
"Our partner in England Saif Rubie is ready to conclude a deal if and when Watford agree a fee with any prospective buyer."
The likes of Fulham, Bolton and Birmingham are all reported to be monitoring Bouazza's situation.

Skysports.com understands that Fulham have lodged a bid for Watford's Hameur Bouazza.
The Algerian international is looking to make the step back up to the Premier League, following Watford's relegation last summer.
The 22-year-old is being trailed by a number of clubs, but Fulham are looking to win the race to land him and have made their move.
Portsmouth, West Ham and Derby are amongst the other suitors and could mount rival bids in the coming days.
Watford are standing firm over their valuation of Bouazza and insist they will not let him leave cheaply, but Fulham will hope their bid - believed to be £3million - will be enough to secure a deal.

le sulk can go! we need quality, hard working, commited players and good team spirit.
one season wonder so far.
£5m can be put back into the team such as another striker, left back and winger.

Adrian Boothroyd has revealed Watford have received a bid from "a Premiership club" for forward Hameur Bouazza.
Fulham were strongly linked with a £4million offer for the Algeria forward, whom the Hornets value at closer to £5million.
Boothroyd said: "I can tell you that we had an offer. It wouldn't be right to say who it was from or how much it was for.
"I would hope that the situation could be resolved. These things happen, and everyone now just wants to move on."
Bouazza ended last season in excellent form and is keen to return to the Premier League.
