Arrow Wolves v Watford match thread

Wolves v Watford this Saturday 17.20 live on Sky Sports.

Hopefully maybe a signing or two to be completed, but no signs yet.

Probable side for the Golden Boys:

---------------------------Poom------------------------

Doyley---------DeMerit------Shittu---------Stewart----

Smith----------Williamson--Mahon(c)-----McAnuff-----

--------------------King-------Priskin------------

subs: Mariappa, Rinaldi, Hoskins, McNamee, Lee

The defensive pairing is a guess, we have alot of options, Tommy Smith may not also be fit but apart from that, thats pretty much the start XI.

Prediction: 2-1 Wolves win. Keogh & Elliot for Wolves and Priskin for Watford.

That line-up doesn't look too bad. Would prefer Rinaldi or Bangura ahead of Mahon in centre midfield though. I would go with Demerit and Shittu at centre back, Carlisle and Shittu are too slow to be a good partnership, the same goes for Jackson and Shittu/Carlisle.

Difficult game to start with, I think we'll get a draw at best. It will be interesting to see how King and Priskin play together.

Apparently not that well. But they are two most likely scorers as King can make a goal out of nothing and Priskin is a goalscorer too.

Yeh I agree with Mahon. I'm hoping Rinaldi will take his place. It didnt sound like Mahon had a guarenteed place in the side a few weeks ago as he was praising Willow quite alot and saying that the place alongside him is up for graps. But Rinaldi has been injured for a bit, but the reports of his performance against Lincoln were very promising. I got a feeling he is going to be a real good find. I think he may be too good for this league, just some glimpses in the prem he looked good and in the reserves he has been amazing.

One thing for sure I hope it's not Jackson and Shittu. DeMerit wasnt originally going to play till Sept due to busy summer maybe this will still happen.

I would prefer Mariappa over Doyley, simply because he can actually pass and good going forward and Smith plays better. But Doyley is better in defence.

The team does look strong on paper though

Smith and Henderson are fit. WO team includes Jackson rather than Shittu.

1-0.

Pretty gutted bout that. Thought Watford dealing with Wolves pretty comfortably.

McAnuff and Smith have looked threatening but no end product.

Set pieces are shit. Only a couple of good ones from Willow. Please ban Stewart from free kicks / corners.

Priskin started of promising but we keep hoofing it up to him when he cant head, he is strong with ball and the feet.

Shittu and DeMerit have been strong, so has Doyley.

Poom obviously cant speak there has been a few errors regarding passbacks.

Dont think we deserve to be 1-0.

I hope a draw or Watford win of course, as I want Coventry to stay top.

Though wathcing bit of game it doesn't look like a 4-1 win to either.

Henderson has made a big difference.

The signs are very postive frm this game alone.

Shittu and DeMerit were a rock. Shittu is too good for this league.

King is going to be up there in the goalscoring chance.

We have the best wingers in the league.

Not sure about Mahon. Doyley's strong just cant pass for shit. Stewart was pretty awful today. Henderson was quality I thought. Priskin very good start then was abysmal.
