Thumbs up Priskin seeking important role

Tamas Priskin has stated that he expects to be a first-team regular for Watford in the forthcoming Championship season.

The Hungarian has featured heavily for The Hornets in pre-season, and is now eyeing a regular spot in Adrian Boothroyd's side after playing 82 minutes in a friendly clash with MK Dons.

The 21-year-old told Nemzeti Sport: "I feel I'm in good form. I had many chances versus MK Dons too.

"It makes me optimistic that I was in the line-up during our last five friendly games, I suppose I'll be a first-team regular in the forthcoming season too."

Priskin made 16 appearances for the club in the Premier League last term, and says his club's main aim is to bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt.

"Our aim is to win promotion," he continued, "and I don't think it's very hard to achieve as our squad was strengthened well during the summer."
