I would take £1.3m for him. If we sign Helguson, then we've basically sold a back-up striker for £1.3m, which is a good deal.

Norwich and Watford could battle it out for the services of Leicester striker Matty Fryatt. (Daily Mirror)
Former 'Wonderkid' Cherno Samba has been released by Plymouth and I have heard through the media circle that he will be trialling at Watford, due to his connections with Dick Bate and Martin Hunter. Split views about this lad, had an unlucky time and is scarily similar to Moses Ashikodi who both spent their teenage years at Millwall before being released. However, with unquestionable talent; maybe Boothroyd could bring out the best in him?

I remember Samba as Liverpool once had a interest in him.You can really say he throw away his talent.

I just searched him on google. He was once dubbed as the next Michael Owen.
Another player with potential who was tipped for huge things like Moses Ashikodi.

But Olly the Plymuff manager makes him out to be absolutley shite. If he's not good for Plymouth he cant be good for us.
Saying that we have better players, better coaches, better facilities for him to improve. I really dont know much about this youngster just like Moses.

Henderson is uncertain on whether he wants to move or not (Daily Express)
He is on tour with the first team in Germany. I reckon he could still stay.

Middlesbrough and Fulham will battle it out for Watford defender Jay DeMerit.
The Cottagers are already set to sign Hameur Bouazza from the Hornets, and could cause Aidy Boothroyd more pre-season problems. American DeMerit is keen to stay in the Premiership and would welcome a move to Craven Cottage.
However, Gareth Southgate has now entered the race. Boothroyd plans to put DeMerit amongst the club’s top earners when contract negotiations start next week. But DeMerit is keen to keep progressing and explained: “In three years I’ve gone from nothing to playing in the Premiership and Copa America. I still have a lot more to do. I’m very happy either way but am considering my options.”
