He was in the game more then I expect, 80% of the games I've seen him play he does nothing for 89 mins then comes out with a goal. Shouldn't of came off.

long ball doesn't equal shite. yes, we play long ball, do you expect us to roll over and make it easy for the opposition when they play against us? we would probably be in league one now if we did that. besides, your own team aren't exactly beautiful to watch either.

long ball or not, you were shite today and equally shite whenever else i have seen you play...

thats nothing to do with you not rolling over and making it easy for the opposition, its just you playing crap football and fluking a few results because of man utds reserve keeper..

its why you are second bottom and 10 points from safety..

as for villa, compared to you bunch of cloggers, we are like the dutch of the 70's...

and for the record, thats more an indication of how bad you lot are, rather than how well we actually play...

yes, we were shite today. it was one of our poorest performances of the season. anyone who has seen us play regularly (not just wfc fans) has said we have been very unlucky on numerous occasions this season. i take it you didn't see west ham away? or blackburn at home? or boro at home? or fulham away? or charlton away? or charlton at home? or arsenal at home? or bolton away? you get my point? i could name a lot more good performances than that as well.

man utd's reserve keeper? . clearly not looking for a bite with that statement. foster has missed about ten games this season anyway and we haven't done badly without him.

yeah, hoofing the ball up to carew and hoping it hits him. total football.

to be honest we were very poor today, every watford fan will tell you so.

but on the talk of your team, your team was very lucky start of the season, you wernet even that great....just nicking the old 1-0 Soresen kept you in alot of games and you were getting luck and Agblonhar was on a freak vien of form.

We were a pretty good team for the first few months, I remember when we played against you at home you weere saying we were just a long ball side, even so Sorensen kept you in that game with 3 quality saves that day. You didnt really trouble us a great deal and you were pretty ordinary and were long balling it to Angel all game, but Shitty had him in his pocket.

But last month or two we have been very poor I hate watching Watford, but what do you expect the side has no confidence.

One thing for sure is we will never roll over and we are still in with a fight of staying up which I dont think we will.

Anyways I'm well chuffed, 3 semi finals in 4 years is fucking great for a club like Watford.

People will knock us all we want, we have decent fans, directors / chairmen who love the club and we produce our own players. It's a great club to be part of.

For such a small club we've done wonders last year or 2.

certainly is, wonderful achievement. maybe that's what ralf is bitter about, how little long ball watford can do that and TOTAL FOOTBALL MASSIVE VILLA can't.

yeh it's great.

beautiful football doesnt win you silverware anyways, look at arsenal this season.

by the way max you mr the most important unlucky in the decision on the open day of the season hit Powell on the head not on the hand, we could of got a draw that day.

west ham at home, straight after we score Harewood handles the ball and then they score.

Plus most importantly having our best player out all season.

anyways semi final here we come. Another day out.

you pair dont half spout some shite...

its amazing how we have managed to hoof the ball up front to carew all season...

especially as before 4 games ago, he was playing for lyon...

since he and young have joined, we have played some good stuff and been unfortunate with a couple of results...

football a clogger side like watford can only dream of...

and for the record, we have only had two 1-0 wins all season...

as for our game early in the season, we hammered you in the first half, your keeper kept you in it, and then our heads dropped and your long ball tactics got the better of us in the second half... both keepers made some good saves, but at least we own our keeper...

still, if you pair of losers are happy with shite long ball clogger football while sticking 10 men behind the ball and starting time wasting tactics after 35 mins, with your best player being man utds reserve keeper, then maybe you deserve the shit that gets served up by your shitty manager..

me, personally, il take a season or two of transition where results arent so great, but the football is improving where we finish mid to lower table in the premier league and possibly go out of the cups to the two best sides in the country...

thats certainly better than fluking our way to a semi final (been there, got the t-shirt many a time... won a couple of them too in the past...) against crap opposition, and getting relegated... along with a well deserved reputation for being a shit side who play shit football and rely on another clubs player to make you not as shit... if thats at all possible...

so good luck with that in the future...

Watford parked the bus. That garbage was shameful. They didn't even try to win but managed it.

It was pretty embarassing I have to admit and I dont think we've ever really time wasted before, but Chris Powell was just using experience to slow down the tempo. Anyways Plymouth played out of there skins, didnt have any quality up front. It was there cup final, they hyped about it all week, even then Holloway was waving his hands up to get some noise from the fans. It was wierd because last season our defence was poor and last season our attacking play was excellent. But this season it roles reversed.

as for transition andy, we are in it ourselves, we brought in a midfielder Gareth Williams who is very composed on the ball. He started against Charlton last week and we were playing some good stuff. But he was cup tied for this game.

Plus the likes of Reading and Sheff Utd were more prepared than us going into the season they've been building up for this season for years, a very settled side, Aidy gets us up in his first attempt.

For the first few months we were a decent side, I think unfairly at the bottom if i'm honest with you and I can keep thinking of more unlucky decions going against us Ashley Young at home to Spurs scoring a perfect goal but given offside. There were just loads of things going against us. Trust me alot of things went against us first few months of the season. And you need that luck and winning mentally early on for a new side eg Wigan last season. But it wasnt to be and now the players have no winning mentally and no confidence.

As for this keeper bollox that he isnt our own, yes technically he isnt BUT he was Stokes reserve keeper before he joined Watford, in his first season he was dropping the ball into his net but yet we gave him the chance, we made him what he is now. I think he is more our player than Man Utd, he's been training and PLAYING with us not Man Utd. We've given him the experience and the first team football.

Our future is great despite what you might think, we got a very good young manager, still producing our own players(amazing acadmey facilities), alot of money from the ashley young deal, would of liked to have kept him but obviously not enough quality to make any real difference for us, new stadiums developments.

It would be great to go down in a way, at least championship fans arent full of themselves and have more knownledge. Saying that if West Brom and Wolves dont go up 'Big Clubs'

transition my arse..

one player isnt transition, nor is getting promoted and realising youre not good enough so deciding to hoof the ball 3 miles in the air, and sticking 10 men behind the ball and getting lucky with another clubs reserve player...

it would be great if you went down because youre too shit for the premiership...

fuck all to do with the fans, and fuck all to do with knowledge...

you will still get fans realising how crap you are in the championship...

personally, i think its sweet that you believe the coca cola adverts about fans in lower leagues...

small heath fans did that when they were about to go down, and now you and the shammer fans are doing the same...

but if thats the height of your ambition, then who am i to argue...

so you have your little fun with the "best fans", in the lower leagues...

There were alot of managers at the start of the season who praised us: Sir Alex, Harry Redknapp in particular and there were more. I'm sure even Arsene said good things about us after Emirates.

I dont think you understand that the hoof ball as occured even more so in the last month or 2 due to confidence no one in the centre of midfield wants to get the ball. We brought Williams in January and you cant change a system over night. We got some foriegn players Cavalli and Rinaldi who are settling in to are who French and Brazilian and we got another known passer of the ball in Williamson who has been injured and getting fitness. Cavalli has already played a few games for us and he's very composed on the ball, Rinaldi no Brazilian goes straight into any side when they come over, but he made the bench last night after scoring 2 in 2 for the reserves.

And this bollox about putting 10 players behind the ball is rubbish we have no way done that all season. No fucking way. If anything Aidy was very naive for the first half season, we always attacked, played a high line, high tempo and high pressing but all of that has gone out of the window since just before xmas.

Even at Arsenal, we had 4 or 5 chances, and when you went to the Emirates you literally parked your bus infront of the goal. Ask JD he went to both games too. But you got lucky that day and got a 1-1 I doubled checked that but I originally thought it was a draw.

If anything Villa are a boring side too, you harp on about how great you are but your hardly goals galore or amazing football yourself. I wish we had a millionaire owners like you to blow money on Carew but we dont sadly. Even then your not beating the likes of Reading, or in any cup runs, or getting into Europe.

Yes we are not premiership side, Watford fans have been unhappy with the last month or two performances but we are still within a shout of staying up.

Sheff Utd, Wigan, Man City are still capable of slipping in and if you can get a run going we're in with a chance.

lol @ getting lucky. We've made a reserve keeper England's no.1. lol @ fucking lucky. Also we've made a player with only two seasons under his belt a £9m player too.

I think we are likely to go down, but when we come back up we will have that experience(the players, the manager) to cope with it better. The club has plenty of ambition for such a small club. Please dont comment on shit you dont know about.

As for championship fans I dont base it on no advert, I havent even seen the advert anyways, just by posts on glory horns after games comments when fans come to gloat and so on.

Anyways it's fun being a Watford fan, may have downs like maybe getting relegated but getting promoted is a real buzz, plus getting to semi finals regularly is a good day out too, hopefully actually get to the final this year

better being lower mid table every year? Bit boring.

Back on the Plymouth thing, they were unlucky but I know how they feel it happened to us alot this season.

villa had man utd in the fa cup...

we lost to a keeper fumble in the 92nd minute..

in the other cup, we had chelsea...

this before "blowing our money" on carew (who in reality, was a straight swap for baros, but dont let small things like facts get in the way of your strange little rant...)

we arent in europe, we arent in relegation battle, we arent in the cups anymore, but we have been very unlucky with some of our results after playing some really good football, that is improving with the new signings..

before we signed them, we made one signing before the transfer window closed in the summer because thats all we could do in the timescale of the takeover...

as for excitement, give me mid to lower finish then progression from there, over relegation anyday of the week... but whatever floats your boat...

as for our game at the emirates, we didnt park the bus... we simply werent allowed to play by a far superior side... managed to grind out a 1-1 draw with a team half packed with youth players... did the same against chelsea twice too...

see, this is what transition is.. a major change at the club on all levels, then having to cope with what you have until you can make the expected changes when possible...

villa are in transition..

watford are just shite...
