Watford v Everton
Quote:
Watford will aim to get their survival campaign back on track when they host Everton.
Both clubs come into the late Saturday kick-off - live on PremPlus - having played their games in hand on Wednesday.
The Hornets drew 1-1 with Wigan Athletic to remain seven points adrift at the foot of the Premiership table, while Everton went down to a late 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.
While David Moyes's men have eyes on a European place, victory for Adrian Boothroyd's men would be a major boost towards Watford staving off a quick return to the Championship.
The reverse fixture back in August saw The Toffees claim victory through a late Mikel Arteta penalty, but Boothroyd would gladly accept a similar scenario going in his favour at this stage of the season.
The Hornets may have to do without on-loan goalkeeper Ben Foster after the Manchester United custodian suffered a dead leg in Wednesday's game against Wigan Athletic.
Moyes, meanwhile, may again have to do without the services of goalscorer Andy Johnson, who missed the midweek defeat to Spurs with a knee injury.
It meant Everton played James Beattie as a lone striker on Wednesday, though Moyes does have the option of Victor Anichebe in attack.
Influential midfielder Tim Cahill returns from suspension, but Andy van der Meyde and Nuno Valente both remain on the sidelines with groin and calf injuries respectively.

Cant see us getting anything due to the way we have played in the last two games.
I would like there to be a couple of changes as Mahon & Francis are terrible in the centre of midfield.

another awful display.
only postives for me was Tamas Priskin. Would of been an amazing goal, something M.King could produce.
He's going to be a class act for us.
Smith is proving all the doubters wrong which I like to see i've always liked him.
Rich Lee is shite and we defo need to buy a new goalie in the summer. Mackay was too slow for Johnson who is a c*nt of the highest order, I hate him so much.
I kinda of want to be relagated now because they mayb the players might put in good performances with no pressure on??????
but off course i want to stay up but last three games have made me want to

I only watched the last 40 min and if priskin had converted those chances it would of been a different game

shocking performance once again, the first half was painful. no effort at all from some of the players (mahon), and some just aren't good enough (also mahon).
absolutely insane that mahon or francis were chosen to start this game, even more insane that they weren't substituted as well, fucking rubbish.
the following players should be dropped for charlton; mahon, francis, mackay, kabba, mariappa and lee. to be replaced by bangura, williams, shittu, priskin, doyley and foster.
andy johnson is an absolute dickhead, never thought he would be hated any more than he was previously but now he is. three dives in the last five or six games he's played against us, fucking prick. i've never seen watford fans give abuse like that before, "stand up if you hate johnson", "andy johnson is a wanker", "if you all hate johnson clap your hands" and "aidy boothroyd's yellow army, we hate johnson" were probably the loudest chants of the game.

I hate Johnson even if it was a penalty, the bloke just goes down to easily and lives of penalties.
He's a prick! His celebration topped it off! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
If the same midfield gets picked again I know we have losted.
