I think you'll find that Doyley felt he wasn't up to it last season either. Had a chat with him in town after the reserves won the title, and he was the first to admit that he wasn't back to full fitness. And Macca as well documented suffers from Asthma, what they have been doing with him is lots of fitness work and Gym work in the hope that it will help improve his lungs, and it hgas helped to a certain degree!!!
So this goes to show Garry you don't know as much about the team as the manager although you would like to think so.
Ok he made changes for the Brighton game, but half of that was because the reserves had an important run in. The Brighton result would make no difference to the league outcome, but if he had played the youngsters would they have been ready for the reserve game. Or do you think that we should have just thrown away such a morale booster. And what have you got to complain about the Brighton game for where you one of the 700 who went there??? No i don't think you were!
