As saídas de Paulo Henrique e Nuno Santos e as entradas de Roberto e Serginho são as novidades nos convocados do Vitória de Guimarães para o embate com o Basileia, quarta-feira, da 3.ª pré-eliminatória da Liga dos Campeões de futebol.

O avançado Roberto regressa aos eleitos depois de cumprido o jogo de castigo com o Vitória de Setúbal, na jornada inaugural da Liga de futebol, enquanto a chamada de Serginho se insere na política de rotatividade do guarda-redes suplente implementada pelo treinador minhoto.

De fora continuam Carlitos devido a lesão no tornozelo, Sereno, a contas com uma tendinite no joelho, e Nuno Assis que fez uma rotura parcial da coxa esquerda nas vésperas da recepção ao campeão suíço.

Manuel Cajuda deverá fazer alinhar o seguinte "onze": Nilson, Andrezinho, Moreno, Gregory, Luciano Amaral; Flávio Meireles, João Alves, Fajardo, Luís Filipe, Desmarets e Douglas.

A comitiva vimaranense parte terça-feira para a Suíça, onde realiza um treino pelas 19 horas.

Na quarta-feira o Vitória de Guimarães defronta o Basileia às 19:15 e regressa a Portugal no dia seguinte.

FC Basel 1893 are preparing for what may be their "most important match of the season" – when they can beat Vitória SC to return to the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time since 2003.

The two sides drew 0-0 in the third qualifying round first leg in Guimaraes on 13 August and Basel are determined to make home advantage tell in Wednesday's return at St. Jakob-Park.
