Grand Theft Auto IV - TalkSoccer

Ive been a long time fan of the series since the very first game with the shitty graphics and top-down view.

anyways, I picked up GTA IV yesterday for X360. The game received much hype and press, and appears to live up to the hype with 10/10 ratings from IGN and other leading gaming critics.

the bad news is, I cant even play it right now because my xbox is broken and got the "red ring of death"... its currently getting replaced by microsoft for free im waiting for them to return it.

I tried it out for a bit at my buddy's house. At the beginning there just teaching you alot of the controls, I cant wait until I get into the good parts of the game but I noticed alot of new gameplay mechanics... and it seems more realistic then previous GTA games.

This game is incredible. First game i ever went to the shops at midnight to get. The car takes awhile to get used too but is very easy once you get used to the braking and steering.

just like in GTA III you got to learn how to use the handbreak to turn effectively

seems harder to pull off in gta iv though.

i really hope my xbox 360 gets fixed soon

I don't think they made it for PC....on the website it doesn't show the PC icon.

Got it today finally as it's been sold out for a few weeks in England.

It's good so far, graphics nice. Although I think the driving is a bit hard, all I want to do is go on a few proper rampages but the police are too easy to get away from.

I think the mini games like pool and bowling is a bit pointless, I can do this shit in real life!

Its post to be a "world" within the game, there are also side missions in it. Post to be the best video game ever, and from those that have played it, they tell me it rocks, including my nephew.

I have not got it yet, but I will as soon as I finish Rainbow six Vegas.
