I play Football Manager, thanks to Meccano and Kahn.

To me, not only is it a great management game, overall its fantastic. It has a lot of realism.

To Mr Watford, as for your boredom...that might do to the fact that you don't have goals with the game. The game is based on goals and your "football career".

If you lot start it, and pick a top team or worse yet, a monster team like United, Inter, Real etc...then you have basically started at the top. Pick a small side in Serie C or League 2, work your way up, and see what you can do.

Right now I'm playing Stockport, its my sixth season or so, and I'm in the Coca Cola championship. My goal is too get to the Premiership, then eventually move over to Italy in Serie B. That is the challenge for me.

BTW, Meccano is sort of an expert on the game, have any questions, ask him...

Only on the technical part, because I beat him every time we've played

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.
"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."

Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

Only because you go and pick the strongest and richest squad in the league while i spend many seasons scraping together my side on nothing more than chicken feed

Guess you just like sticking to your philosophy cheating is the best way to win

i know i've been playing it since cm3 (98/99). i agree with you that playing with a big team is as boring as fuck - where's the fun in just buying anyone you feel like?
i think i end up getting bored because i'm really shit at it - only one promotion ever in ten years of playin. the old cm games were harder though.
