Are you talking about an emulator? I think not...its very fast engine for the game, you could turn down the grafixs, but I'm probably the wrong guy to ask.

a mac has the option to boot up either with an apple os or a windows os, not an emulator i believe.

There are Windows emulators for macs, like virtual PC and stuff, but usually those are too slow to run games like COD4.

I don't think its powerful enough. If I'm not mistaken, the Mac OS is still emulating it, and if it really booting up seperately, it still would not have enough power or the architecture of the Mac chip will not work efficiently to run windows PC based game.

Multiplayer is great, but im always getting my ass kicked....

I use the warfighter type mostly though.

Make your own class, its much more important to pick the perks you need more than the standard ones they give you.

yeah right now im level 52 in multiplayer and did many challenges

I like using guns not too many ppl use

I also like using silencers alot and trying to sneak up behind enemies and pop them from behind, with the silencer its harder for them to notice where you are shooting at them from.

My faviourte gun is the M14 assualt rifle it is very powerful from far away but it is single fire so is difficult to use in close quarters combat situations and is not a gun for noobs, I dont kick ass with it but its still my faviourte because I like hitting ppl from far and the gun is powerful 1-2 shots is usually all you need although sometimes you may need 3-4 shots if your aim is a bit off or they are using juggernaut.

however, from my experience the best overall weapon for online play is the M16 assault rifle which is available right from the start. It is easy to use at short, medium, or long range, and has good power and accuracy.

I use a variety of weapons I try to master them all, unlike many online who seem to always stick with the m16, m4 carbine or p90.

on large open maps such as countdown and overgrown, I usually go with assault rifles (M16, G3 or my preferred M14) and sniper rifles.

On maps that are more closed, and feature more medium range combat I like using sub machien guns, such as ak-74u, p90, or mp5, some of the assault rifles particularly m4 carbine and ak-47 and g36c work well too.

On maps with alot of interior fighting, also good to use shotguns and the above mentions weapons.

and the LMG's are good for defending positions and are nice for shooting enemies through walls.

Your a monster, I just can't get into it, then I get killed right away. All I want is good campaigns, where you can work with people to do a mission.

yeah it would be amazing if there was online co-operative play where you can complete missions.

Im not very good, I just have played alot my total time playing online is close to 48 hours (it measures how much time you have spent).

I love the single player, but i also love the multiplayer component. I used to be a big Team Fortress and counter-strike player so I have been playing online shooters before. I played team fortress (for half life 1) for so long, It got to the point where I seriously would go into any server and it was almost guarenteed I would finish in first place on the score chart... and I could do it with any character class be it sniper soldier engineer medic etc. I loved that game but counter strike took over I was into CS for a while to.

it takes patience, at first you die alot. in fact, I remember I had to play 3 deathmatch games in COD4 to finally get my first kill. I have a friend who has played a bit longer then me but Id say he is considerably better. most the time I just play for fun.. but when I get in the zone and choose to play more tactical I find I can get better scores. Im not one of those nerds who sweats over their record.. I just go an play for the hell of it...always trying out different weapons and tactics. Also when you first play, you may be good at shooting the guns and aiming and so on but its important to keep playing and get to know the maps so you know where all the paths lead and common spots players like to "camp" in. When I see players running, Now I alwaus try to use alternate paths to surprise them... hopefully from behind because if you catch players from behind they really have no chance unless you miss the first shot or two and let them turn around to engage you.... but the best thing to do is try and get the drop on the enemy and shoot them in the back of the head lol.

I played today only for about 15-20 minutes when i was waiting for dinner I did pretty good in one game, and then the last game I was average just over .500 ratio in terms of kills and deaths and the other team was all a clan. I called them "A bunch of N00bs" on the microphone (just trying to break their balls) and they got angry it was so funny.

All you gotta do, call them n00bs on the mic and they get mad its pretty funny.

I'm a General now. Clocked all the tests and got all the weapons. I only play arcade from time to time to tone my senses and then play on multi-player against my mates on a network. We found some new maps on another site and have been working thro' them.

The game itself is awesome. Once I've got my new pc its should be even better as previously I had to tone down some graphics to play it.
