Capcom announces Street Fighter IV - Joystiq

It looks sensational.Ive always been a street fighter fan since the first game on NES.I loved the alpha games and the next generation SF games such as 3rd strike.

This game better give us the choice as to play in 3d or 2d....the 3d games have been shite for the ps2 but when they went to the classic 2d for SF 3rd strike it was an instant classic and major hit.

Loved the king of fighters series along with fatal fury as well.Me and my bros along with friends have had epic battles.This better be on the 360!!!!!!

I never really liked the Street fighter series. I only had 1 game and thats way back the Amiga computers were popular. I always preffered Tekken as a fightin game although my interest in that also disappeared. Btw that theme is the usual Street fighter theme, I think you can find it.

Yeah the storyline takes place after Super street fighter 2 turber but before the third strike series (where only about 5 characters from the originals were in,Ryu,Ken,Akuma,Chun li....I think thats it.).Most of us loyal street fighter fans despise the story line especially since Bison should be dead.Guile should be finished with fighting due to Bison's death....etc etc.

We wanted Street fighter 3rd strike Characters in but instead we get street fighter 2 characters with some random people who dont even make sense.But alas theres nothing we can due.Visually it does look a bit Tekken-ish.They did go 3d on our asses which some of us were hesitant with but its a side scroller.You cant go into the background to dodge an attack like in Tekken or Dead or Alive.

I really dont like the story line and quite a few of my friends are sceptical(along with myself).BUt its a new SF game so we gotta get hyped up about it.It should be alot easier to play *says the programer* then SF third strike and the characters you're familiar with so all is good.Theres quite a few youtube videos of people playing it on arcade in japan so if you're interested check em out.I know Ill be buying it when it comes out for the 360
