I'm some where in March or April, and I'm 6 points from relegation. I told you its hard, but keep at it.

Just stick in the league, I think the fruits come in year two. Management is pointing to that.

They are telling me to sign players, but I'm not having a great season, and they just offered me a new contract, so I must be doing something right.

Pescara lacks three players in my estimation, one good striker, another DM, because if you lose the one you have, you will be going to the U20 side for one...not good.

And last but not least, one good CB or LB or LW.

One other thing, I established a parent club relationship.

Go to the board page, and establish one. You won't see dividends until year two.

The thing about this from what I can see, you are destined to fail in year one.

*very important, only EU players, and I have raided Norway and Switzerland for good talent. They have no hesitation coming to the club, as its Italy, they must like that.

yeah i signed guardiola and some ivorian player as dms on free transfers.

i got a portuguese right winger for £1k

norweigans and swedes r good yeah, i went to their U21s and signed a rb and a rb/cb

i had the option of parma and chievo as parent clubs and i chose chievo cos they had a higher valuation and better expectations

pablo mazza is apparently a decent cheap signing... not great stats, but bangs the goals in...

if you can get him, have a look for a young kid called marcelo.. hes a left sided wb/d... his tackling and marking are piss poor, but if you train him up for attacking midfield, he is amazing...

Ive got the game working and am overwhelmed at all the detail.

This is my first time playing the FM series, and i am completely lost. I have no clue where to start lol.

Andy, would that be Marcelo from Fluminense? Juve might get him this January. Apparently "the new R. Carlos".

yea, it is... he has amazing stats for a winger..

im going to buy him and train him up for the wing, and then train him up for the right side too...

will then have an awesome winger who can switch flanks and cover the full back slots.....

I HATE torrents. I could fucking hand in my resignation, take my FA coaching badges, and forge myself a real-life career in football management in the time it takes this piece of shit to download. I've been going 22 minutes and I'm still on 0.0%, with 0.48MiB completed, whatever that means.

Am I doing something wrong?

Okay, I have some bad news lads.

I finished almost near the bottom, and was forced into a playoff, where I lost to a C1 team! Can you fukin believe IT!!!! AHH!!!

Anyways, I was promptly fired.

Damn, going to try Pescara FC again. Not giving up on this.

Also suggesting that we all try the same team, and since some of us are playing Pescara, I wouldn't mind seeing different strategies at work, and see what doesn't work.

We could even do a seperate thread.

Nick(Azzurri), don't play with Juve, that too easy mate! Play with a minnow, and try to build them. That is where the fun is.

I lost my first game with Juve somehow lol. It was a friendly. I dont think it will be to easy with Juve, since they start off with a -17 pt deficit in the game lol.

i got my mum to go down Morrisons to get me the game - hopefully they have it in stock

i really dont know who to start with ...i may give Norwich City a run see how i fair up ...its kinda tough with Norwich City Huckerbys pace rating is so low

Best to start with your favoured club to get a feel of the game and the players avilible as you will already know alot about your own club.

firzst game with chelsea , didnt want to buy anyone because i know team is perfect.

Chairmen goes and buys rafinha -_- and he needs a work permit so i sent him back on loan to Shaclke. in Jnuary he goes and Buys me Ferdeiach another right back i coudnt beleive it.

I brought torres in January seeing as All big clubs wanted him ,

Won the epl first year by 2 points beating united on the last day.

Won fa cup. won CL. I lvoe new cl feature watching the draw very good.

So ive started a new game as chelsea are too good.

I am Coventry Championship team, and first season won the playoffs. and im getting slaugther in the Prem, but im keeping the board happy but drawing winning my home game, and did everyhting i could to be Villa which I did and the board loved it.

But i think im gonna get relegated, but I dont mind going to the prem has goten my club alot of money from Prem, I just need a good cup campaign.

one day ill win the league!

Chelsea are tooooooooooo good. I was Man Utd. Won league cup in first season. 2nd season won F.A Cup. Finished 2nd in the league both times. But it was getting boring half way through the 3rd or 4th season as Chelsea always win the league and Europe

At the moment I'm Watford, its a struggle big time LOL. Started of pretty decent, but now I'm going down like a sinking ship.

I want to try stay up, if not apparently when Watford get relegated no one leaves and get more of a budget than in the first season.

by the way I think we should have a football manager forum??????
