ok, ill try them out, but what r the transfer rules regarding foreign players in italy? in spain and germany ur allowed up to 3 players without EU passports and in england u need a work permit but italy's seems to change in every version....

For some reason, they won't allow any non EU players.

So you have to work with EU countries.

I have great success with Germany and Swiss players.

Get ready for shock though..your transfer budget is under a million. You will have to do some work.

Im considering trying this game. What is it exactly? U dont actually play any matches, but just manage. How does the game last for so long than?

uve never played before??

this is like the most in depth football game EVER (up to date).

u dont play any matches but u control every aspect a manager would control.

u have to set up tactics, try and upgrade ur facilities, nurture young players, keep ur players happy, keep them fit.....

each player has loads of statistics and has a rating out of 20 for each, there r technical, physical and mental attributes as well as form and fitness.

technical ones r things like, the different set pieces, technique, finishing, tackling, marking, heading, dribbling, long shots, crossing.....

mental ones r like composure, concentration, off the ball, positioning, aggression, influence, teamwork, flair, creativity.....

physical ones r like pace, acceleration, stamina, natural fitness, jumping, agility, balance....

this is one of those games u either love or hate, its quite a slow game but very satisfying, u can choose whatever team u want and do what u want with them. the game lasts so long because its pretty realistic, ur a manager, the job never finishes, if u get sacked u try and find a new club, if u get bored u try and find a new club....

the game is obviously quite similar throughout but there r usually loads of different challenges based on ur club's expectations, their budget, injuries + suspensions, etc.

for some its very boring but for some its the best game in the world. and there arent too many in between i dont think

Nick, its like just from the managing perspective, scouting, finances, on field decision, acquisitions, picking parent clubs, selling players........

and making your team better.

Prepare yourself though, it took me a day to figure everything out without instructions, but I'm dense..

i love the game...

got mine being delivered this week, but cant have until my birthday next week...

played the demo and think its the best version yet..

hopefully the patch will be out by next week too...

can't wait to get playing. starting as derby you get 100k transfer budjet to start. which is really unrealistic. but ah well. can't wait.

that's nothing, on cm4 with watford my transfer budget was £10k.

Well things have taken a turn for the worse. My good players either get suspended or hurt..for many months.

And I'm near the bottom of the table now, and close to relegation. DAMN!

All I have to do is stick.

Max, I will try a C1 team next, after I do this one.

My main goal with Pescara FC is making Serie A, then making Europe.

o man im already getting pissed off with pescara! the strikeforce is so weak!! i signed a new striker with half my transfer budget and in his debut he got injured for 2-3 months (my new keeper got injured in the same game).... it took me extra time to beat pavia in the cup qualifying rounds and then in my second game i got knocked out by piacenza after taking the lead.

its gonna be a very tough season and i forgot to include C1 in the playable leagues....

how far along r u Jager?

How do you include the C1 leagues? I might have to start over again.
