yes, It should work on non purcahsed as well , if you have the no cd file for that update which usually take a while to make.
Example the no cd for Fm 7.0.0 if updated to 7.0.1 it wount work. Unless you get the 7.0.1 no cd file, If that wahat you were asking.

I tried updating it for the 1st patch, but it wouldn't work. I had to dig up the burnt CD to be able to play it again, and when it started working, nothing changed. Im reluctant to try installing this patch, as im 4 seasons in, and dont wanna lose my game.

I did with the last game to change some of the players a bit. It's best for changing the age of Brazilians to 18 from 17 so you can buy them a year earlier... (I'm too impatient)

i used to use it all the time to make mini challenges, eg team with very low rep, NO squad players, but LOTS of cash.
i dont understand how to use the new editor to do that thoguh 
@ JM 
ur potentially making the players worse as theyve missed a year of their training!

I edited a few players and teams, I 'saved as,' but when I start a new game, it still uses the default database. I dont c any option when I start a new game that allows me to select the database I edited. Any suggestions?

when u click new game it should ask u which database u want to use if u have more than 1, that's what happens automatically with me

Something is fucked in mine. I dont even get that option. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't save my 'edit' properly and thats y I dont get a drop down of databases to select from. Back to editing. Damn lol, it took me a while to do.

There is only one reason for this, the database you created is a differnt patch to the patch you are using in the game, it's most proberly you using the wrong no cd patch. |
