CM- boro'

i've played one season with boro' now and i won the league and FA cup, but i still feel the team needs some strenghtening,

gk.schwarzer: average gk, i'll be on the look out for a new one

dr.heggem: brilliant at times, got him on free transfer at the start of the first season
dl.quedrue: pretty good defender, i'll keep him til mceveley is ready for the first team
dc. southgate: along with ehiougu the best dc partnership in the prem at the moment
dc. ehiougu: strong and solid... as southgate gets older i'll need a replacement, riggot has been doing a great job when one of them has been injured

mr.tijjani babangida: wow :shock: , one hell of a player, got him on free and my god hes been great, scoring loads too
ml.marinelli: godd at times, but i'll definitely need a new left winger
mc.boateng: looks strong on paper but not concistant enough, so i might bring in someone to replace him if i get enough money
mc. juninho: playes great and have adepted into a defencive role where he comes from the deap and chalenges the central defenders

fc.ricketts: my top goalscorer of the season with 38 goals
fc.job: also grown into a goalgetter...

reserves:
defoe: i gues he'll be my first choice next season, great player
greening: hasn't developed as i had hoped to, probably because he hassent gotten the chances he usually get
doriva: has saved me with some great passing when coming on as a sub, but currently he's not good enough for the starting XI
riggot: great prospect, will probably take over for southgate in a few years
cooper: solid and rutined, used him a bit while quedrue was out
mceveley: he'll get there...
stockdale: playes well, but didn't play much the first season
nash: didn't play enough... but not prem standard


any sugestions for players i should sign? i'll need a left winger, defencive midfielder and a good goalkeeper...

i got etherington for about £1mill, gravesen for £2.2mill and lescott for £2mill... i could only buy players for £7mill as theboard decided to install under soil heating and upgrade the training facilities before the season

i'm actually getting a bit bored to, haven't bothered to start that second season... i could use a new skin as i'm getting tired of the one i've got now

i also hope the 03.04 is ready soon.. doubt it though

Its out in november but i aint going to buy it as im bored of it and also pes3, wwe smackdown and fifa 2004 are coming out. :danc:

i dont like the new cm layout, the game has changed to much, i still play on cm 01/02

If you want to have a left winger, try Damian Luna. He's an Argentinian, so need work permit to get him ! He's just 15/16 years old at the start of the game. Will do good when he's 20.

Goalkeeper, try Luke Steel from Man Utd. He's still a youngster and need trainings to become good.

For defensive midfield, not so sure. coz i didn't play defensive midfielder in my game.

I see that you already snap up McEveley. Is that Jay McEveley who play as a defender? He will be real good !

yea, the blackburn lad, he'll be great... i bought gravesen as i hoped he would do the work defencively, but doesn't seem like it's working so i'll play boateng away from home... even though he look really clumsy
