CM5 or football manager 2005.
Which of these is meant to be the better game, CM5 is made by eidos but FM2005 is by Sports Interactive both responsible for the other champ man games, just wondering if anyone has any info on what is the best buy, as Sports Interactive made the database, but eidos have kept the immortal name.

Id get the demo versions of both first mate, download the demos from www.thedugout.net, and then buy which you think is best. Personally, i think that FM2005 looks better than CM5, as it was made by the old makes of CM. Im gonna get both, and i have pre-ordered my copies at amazon

I would be inclined to buy Football Manager 2005 instead of the other, Sports Interactive like many have said are the company that held all of the genii behind the Championship Manager games..so for the better game, I think you need to get the one made by them.
Out of interest, why have SI and Eidos split? Is it mentioned in any of the other topics on the board?
