Rules:

Everyone starts on 10 vCash.

The winner is the person who makes 1000 vCash the fastest.

If more than 1 person passes the 1000 mark at the same time, the winner is the person who has passed 1000 by the most.

NO private bets are allowed - this is crucial and it doesn't really make a difference if ur bets are private or not but I can't sort out who's made how much if people make private bets.

If you reach 0 vCash, u regain 10 vCash, but u will have a penalty of 10 vCash once u go over 20 vCash.

Everyone can bet on any event (matchday events) - if an event can't be used for this competition I will say so in the thread.

Each week u must SPECIFY what you've bet on for the competition, this means that u can keep betting normally as well, so for example if u put 1 vCash on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]" u would say in a thread I will make at a later date, I bet on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]", if ur too lazy to go to a separate thread then specify in the thread itself, but say that for the competition u've bet on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]", then u can bet on anything else u want (although it won't count to ur game's total).

Everyone will compete with everyone else, and I will tott up who's made how much in a thread each week.

Okay, the last question I'm asking..

I will be making bets on the EPL now, do I have to tell how much I bet in each match?

Well u only have 1vCash atm, but no u dont have to write the amount ur betting.

I think the best way to do this would be like this, saying:

"i've bet on..." and then leave the name of the thread of the events uve bet on in this thread.

and then in that thread u'd have to say:

"I've bet on Man Utd v Chelsea [H], Arsenal v Tottenham [D], At Least 3 Draws..."

(basically listing what events u've bet on)

and then ill do the maths and put the results in this thread

Is it still possible to join? I might skip the first week or so because I bet on loads of matches yesterday but I don't remember exactly what.

Yeah sure you can still join, and u have 50 vCash, u only need 1 for this game so u can bet now as well if u want to, the rules of the competition are at the top of this thread, if u don't understand any of it feel free to ask.

I thought it meant you had to list all the other things you've betted on not related with this competition. Nvm, I get it now

also regarding this

you should make people use that thread, not only to make it easier for you to do but also harder for you to make mistakes eg not seeing a thread and not taking a bet into account....

Kyan important question:

Are you going to round winnings up or to the nearest number? This may seem pedandic but everyone starts with $1 and if you bet $1 on Chelsea beating Birmingham (at odds of 0.17) then if you win you will get back $1.17 which could become either $1 or $2 depending on how you are going to round.

Yeah I've already thought of that, normally I'll use the vBookie to give me the amount of winnings (once settled if u click on any of the events it shows u who bet on what, how much, and how much they won), but i think the vBookie naturally rounds down so if ur betting 1 and u win, u will have it rounded up.

i think u misunderstood it, the -10 means that u have a 10 vCash penalty once u reach at least 11 vCash.

So when u hit 11 u reach 1, and then ur debt is cleared. If you have 9 vCash and go straight to 12 then u have 2 and ur debt is cleared...

It's just there to make it more challenging

yes, i understand that, but i am saying on the very first round it is hard, you have to bet all your money and if you get it wrong than you get - 10 penalty, and then you win next one and your points are 2 (-10). and another person could win their first bet, so they get 2 points, next round they only bet 1 point to be sure they don't get the -10 penalty, they end up losing the bet but they still have 1 point and no penalty.

Yeah so to start off with u have to decide whether u want to take a risky policy and try and win back a lot of vCash and get ahead of the rest early on or if u want to play it safe and gradually accumulate vCash.

Otherwise people could just keep putting their money on accumulators with no consequences until they win and then they win big money.

yes I understand why it is there, but I am saying on the very very first round, we all start off with one vcash and have to make a bet. we can't play safe even if we wanted to, because we can't bet 0.5 of a vcash. maybe we should start off with 2 vcash so if we want to play safe we can.

Well u could bet on a dead certainty...

It doesn't really matter tbh, the winner is the person with 1000, there's a long way to go till then.

Does anyone else have any opinions on this matter?
