Rules:

Everyone starts on 1 vCash.

The winner is the person who makes 1000 vCash the fastest.

If more than 1 person passes the 1000 mark at the same time, the winner is the person who has passed 1000 by the most.

NO private bets are allowed - this is crucial and it doesn't really make a difference if ur bets are private or not but I can't sort out who's made how much if people make private bets.

If you reach 0 vCash, u regain 1 vCash, but u will have a penalty of 10 vCash once u go over 10 vCash.

Everyone can bet on any event (matchday events) - if an event can't be used for this competition I will say so in the thread.

Each week u must SPECIFY what you've bet on for the competition, this means that u can keep betting normally as well, so for example if u put 1 vCash on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]" u would say in a thread I will make at a later date, I bet on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]", if ur too lazy to go to a separate thread then specify in the thread itself, but say that for the competition u've bet on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]", then u can bet on anything else u want (although it won't count to ur game's total).

Everyone will compete with everyone else, and I will tott up who's made how much in a thread each week.

I have one question, what do we do to the current vcash we already have ?

Nice one.

it stays the same, u can keep betting however u like as long as u specify what events u've bet on for the competition.

So for example if u bet 1 on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]", as long as u say in the thread I'll make when the competition starts, something like:

I've bet on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]"

then u can bet on anything else u want. if u put 2 bets on the same thing e.g. 1 vCash - because that's all the vCash u start with in the competition - and 100 because u want to boost ur vCash in ur profile thing, then u have to sepcify that u bet 1 on "Man Utd v Chelsea [H]". and everything else will be ignored.

Does that make sense?

I'd love to join, but I'm travelling on thursday and will be back in the 24th of the month. so kyan, if you think I can still compete, then put me in. if not, I'll try in another time.

I'm sure we can find a way to let u join in...

We'll see how well everyone else is doing when u get back, maybe if the others don't mind we can take an average of everyone's amounts when u get back and give u the average.

Sorry, nope - it starts when the first matchday of the leagues we've made events for starts - which I think is the Spanish league on the 1st of August, although from then on u can bet on pretty much all events.

Good idea for a game but I don't envy you for running it. So rather than altering our recorded vCash in our profile. You plan to keep a running total of everyones' scores by them declaring a competition bet in this thread or the specific event thread? Sounds like quite a bit of work to me.
