Koeman Wants Unsettled Riise
Koeman Wants Unsettled Riise
Quote:
Liverpool's Norwegian left-back John Arne Riise could be heading for Spain if Valencia manager Ronald Koeman gets his way.
According to the Daily Mirror, Valencia boss Ronald Koeman has launched a £4million bid to sign Liverpool defender John Arne Riise.
Although Rafael Benitez wants to keep 27-year-old Riise at Anfield, the struggling Spanish giants have targeted him as a top priority to help turn fortunes around at the Mestalla.
Koeman, the recently appointed boss of Los Che, explained: "He is a player with experience and would offer some options for our game."
And Valencia's sporting director, Miguel Angel Ruiz, was quoted in the Mirror as saying: "We want to improve our squad."
After crashing out of the Champions League ignominiously and faring disappointingly in La Primera Liga, Valencia want to give their fans renewed hope and enthusiasm via the transfer market.
Valencia have apparently already had an approach for Riise rejected by Liverpool, but are set to go back with an improved bid, claims the Mirror.
Benitez, though, is not about to sell a versatile and popular player who is at home at left-back or on the left side of midfield, and who is famed for his powerful shooting from distance.
If Valencia are thwarted in their wish to sign Riise, they may switch their attentions to Inter Milan's Brazilian left-sided player, Maxwell.
However, Riise is said to be their first choice.

Would seem that Koeman wants an attacking LB to replace Moretti. For a counter attacking team it's quite dangerous to have 2 attacking full backs tho, if he needs any signing then it should be for defensive stability or a creative CM like Lucho.

Not a bad option. They are linked to many left backs atm.
Linked to Taiwo from Marseille and Grosso.

Ha here we go again
Valencia are a bunch of cheap bastards, they didn't sign Lucho in the summer because they were stupid enough to not wanting to pay 15m €, now that Porto have 100% of rights, any team that wants him can either pay 30m € for the best player in Portugal or piss off

Try this out. When she is about to say yes or no, pull back and say, "nah, I change my mind" and sort of walk away.
See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.
