Valencia clear out
So from what I understand even if Valencia do stay up, they have a mass exidous, they brought a new stadium? Can't sell the Mastella? Or something
So they gonna sell everyone for the right price.
The team is full of great players, who is going where :O

Looks like pretty much everyone.
According to Sid Lowe off the Guardian podcast, Villa, Joaquin & Vicente will be leaving, Villa probably to Real. If I was David Albelda I would be off as well, along with Canizares & Angulo.

well i'm guessing that Banega will stay. he is only 19 and hasnt set the world alight at the Mestalla so far so I doubt a) he would want to leave and b) a big club would be prepared to take a €12m+ risk on him.
Silva is the one player I heard Valencia are desperate to keep, but with Barca rebuilding, Chelsea often linked...there is a chance that he would be tempted away.
Miguel would surely be dropping down a level if he left, either back to Portugal or to a lesser La Liga club...he has had a pretty bad time of it in Valencia and has been usurped as the RB for Portugal i believe...
Marchena & Albiol.....no idea. They have both had terrible seasons, but Spanish internationals with, in Albiol's case, a lot of potential- I'm sure they would find La Liga suitors. Barca could be a destination for Albiol I guess...

Marcelino (of Racing Santander), said that if he got the job at Valencia, he'd shift about 12 players. When was it established an exodus was needed? It was Koeman's idea wasn't it? Not a guy I'd be taking pointers off right now.

Joaquin will leave quite cheaply I think, probably for 12m euros or so but I don't know which club will pick him up. Villa has already announced he'll leave and Valencia are demanding 40m euros for him. Silva they desperately want to keep and he's a youth product but it's all down to Silva if he wants to hop to another big club, hopefully Barca.
Miguel I have no sympathy for, he's a chain smoker and heavy drinker and has been for a long time but it seems like it's finally caught up with him this season. He's extremely sluggish now but I think he'll still find a semi-decent club with Valencia getting about 10m euros for him.
Like NJ said Banega staying would be because no one would meet the price Valencia want but also because Banega wants to succeed here.
The old guard and new guard will stay I think in Baraja, Marchena, Raul Albiol, Mata. Also I see Vicente staying as he's a hero in these parts, unless someone like Liverpool come in for him.
Alexis might leave because he wasn't given the chances under Koeman and when he was he was played out of position, the new coach should try and convince him to stay so he's got him and Albiol as the new CB duo.
I think Villa, Joaquin, Silva, Miguel, Caniera, Helguera, Edu, maybe Maduro, Arizmendi, Zigic, Morientes will leave with the trio of Albelda, Canizares y Angulo also probably leaving.

I wonder if Rafa will sign a player from his former club this season... Silva could be a target... Vicente and Joaquin is also interesting...

I'd take Joaquin at Liverpool in a heartbeat. I think he would be great on our right. Vicente less so because of his fitness, although I think he is probably a better player than Joaquin when on form.
Cant see us getting David Silva, or even being interested in him. I dont think he is the kind of player that would fit in at Anfield, despite being immensely talented.

Isn't Fernandes due back at Valencia from his loan spell at Everton? Himself and Banega might be an interesting midfield partnership.
I think Ronald Koeman proved the type of manager he really is this past season.
Shite.
That much talent and he almost takes them down? Ridiculous.

Yeah Fernandes is due back and it looks like Everton won't pay the £12m or so agreed buy price for him.
Valencia shouldn't worry too much about the possibility of having no Albelda next season as they have Fernandes and Sunny, 2 of the best prospects in the world for that DM position and under the right coach he can turn them into quality players along with Ever Banega.

It seems Everton are asking for another loan deal for Fernandes

I don't think Valencia are gonna go for another loan deal. They desperately need players and Fernandes had problems with Koeman which is why he was sent out in the first place. Now he's gone I think Fernandes will want another crack at Valencia. To put it simply they would be total gimps to agree to a loan deal again right now.
They'll try and sell him if they get an offer near £10m tho.

IF(big if) Valencia could hold onto their top players and keep people fit, a midfield-attack of
--------------Banega-----------Fernandes------------
Jaoquin---------------Silva-------------------Vicente
-------------------------Villa-----------------------------
Would be pretty special. With Hildebrand in goal, it's only really the defense and squad players that needs strenghtening.

Valencia To Drastically Reduce Squad
Quote:
New Valencia coach Unai Emery is going to bide his time before deciding which players he needs to off-load from the club during the summer period , with up to 18 set to leave.
Los Ché currently have a squad of 40 professionals, but the trainer only requires 22 or 23 for the start of the season at the end of August and is working out who will go.
One player set to make Emery's job slightly easier is Marco Caneira, with him on the verge of a €1m move to Sporting Lisbon after several days of negotiations look to have borne fruit.
Valencia have accepted that they may have to cash in on one of their star names in order to balance the books and David Silva, David Villa and Joaquín have all been linked with moves away.
Emery is not keen to see any leave, although he has admitted that Silva is the most likely, and will only make concrete decisions when the squad return to training on July 14.
Until then virtually every player has a price because Valencia's debt needs to be reduced and new sporting director, Juan Sánchez, is in continuous consultation with the board about the problem.
Patience is now the keyword at Mestalla, however, and it could be that a batch of players will not be moved on until after the club's pre-season tour of Holland at the end of next month.

Now do you mean the trio Albelda, Canizares and Angulo will retire or leave for another team?? Because speculation is that Canizares will retire...haven't a clue about the rest..
Surely if Barca were to get Silva they would have too many options in the midfield, especially if they play 4-3-3??
I mean Xavi, Iniesta, Toure, Deco, Silva...who would start??
