This is a real young squad that the US U-20 brought to this tourny. There are a plenty of 17 year old on this team as well as a few 15 year olds. Would've been nice to have Kenny Cooper on this squad as well as our other "bigtimers" in Gaven and Spector.

it's just an U-20 exhibition tournament between the US, Mexico, Honduras and Brazil with each team gettting two games. I believe this little tourny is just a little tune up for January's U-20 CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament for the 2005 U-20 World Championship.
In the 1st match US beat Honduras 2-0 with two 15 year olds getting the goals, Preston Zimmerman with the 1st and Adu adding a PK later on. Mexico won there 1st match over Brazil 3-1.

All the better why it would have been nice to have him. A little playing time and maybe some confidence building.

U20 qualify games
SPOTLIGHT ON U-20
The U.S. Under-20 national team this week begins CONCACAF qualifying for the World Youth Championships, which will be held June 10 to July 2 in the Netherlands.
The Americans, who are expected to easily qualify from Group A, will play Trinidad & Tobago tomorrow, Panama on Friday and Costa Rica on Sunday, all at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
Group B, which will be played Jan. 26-30 in Honduras, consists of Canada, Honduras, Jamaica and Mexico. The top two teams from each group qualify for the 24-team tournament.
U.S. coach Sigi Schmid yesterday reduced the squad to 18 players. Among the four players cut was Teaneck's Randi Patterson, a forward from UNC-Greensboro.
Midfielder Eddie Gaven of the MetroStars; Clifton's Danny Szetela, a midfielder with the Crew; and Seton Hall University midfielder Sacha Kljestan are on the roster, as is D.C. United forward Freddy Adu.

EDDIE GAVEN needed only 25 minutes to score a hat trick to lead the United States to a 6-1 victory over Trinidad & Tobago on the first day of CONCACAF U-20 Qualifying

I live near Milwaukee, but I guess that doesn't count!
Actually I can't seem to find the roster. I will keep poking around unless someone beats me to it.
