Our U-20 haven't played that well at all in the Milk Cup, no finishing.

Kind of surpised that we could not pull out one of these matches. NI did do a good job against us and Wales tipping Brazil was kind of a shock so I can't say I'm disappointed however a win or 2 would have been a good confidence builder for the young guys. 4 goals in 4 games is average but I woulda hoped for maybe 6 but its experience so we can't complain about the exposure.

Not bad no doubt about that good actually, but a win would really have been a boost to the young guys. Thats all i'm saying.

Default Bruce Arena on Adu

. WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: Quakes' future; Arena on Adu

"He exceeded my expectations. Getting thrown in early maybe wasn't the best
thing for him, but he learned from that."
-- U.S. national team coach Bruce Arena on Freddy Adu, who saw action in all
30 D.C. United regular-season games and was the team's third-leading scorer
with five goals. (USA Today)

the only way i see him being called in against jamaica is to use as a publicity stunt to draw a bigger crowd

He has a bright future ahead, but he hasn't earned a callup (IMHO).

we shouldn't be thinking of calling him in until after wc 2006, tho i do think he will have a breakout season next year in mls and take the league by storm... the league needs it anyways with beasly gone to psv and donovan headed out soon as well.
