U.S., Guatemala could play in Frisco

The U.S. Soccer Federation is close to announcing a rematch in Frisco of its friendly match last year against Guatemala, two sources said.

The match would take place March 28 at Pizza Hut Park. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity, because the agreement has not been finalized.

U.S. Soccer spokesman Jim Moorhouse confirmed yesterday that negotiations were ongoing between Pizza Hut Park officials and the Guatemalan federation

I would have liked the US to set a friendly with a UEFA or CONMEBOL team rather than Guatemala. No disrespect to Guatemala but I think we need top quality competition to get the men ready for Gold Cup.

Reminds me a little of the Man United away kit of a few years ago, which was modelled on Barcelona's buff coloured away kit with vertical pinstripes. Improves on that though. This is a lovely clean shirt.

Quote:
This shirt is pretty kick-ass,thats why Nike beats Puma any day of the week.Nike keep their kits simple but they always add something individual. This overused Puma template makes me want to stick my finger in my throat lol, they really impressed me with the Spurs kits of the last two years though, but now they are going crazy making the same stuff over and over again.Anyway, this is one of the best kits I've seen here in the recent weeks, with a number on the front and on the back it will be even better.

Quote:
AWESOME KIT FOR USA! Minimal pinstripes looks great, sort of like Aston Villa's white with subtle light blue pinstripes. The barely noticable off white hoops add a nice touch. I WANT THIS!

Quote:
Looks like Tommy Hillfiger designed this at least it's not as "cookie cutter" as some of the other new nike shirts...
