why i sjohnny walker getting playing time in so many matches? arena said he wanted to have one of the 3 in england, and the best in mls, but i dont think walker is the best in mls. he has also reached his peak because i think hes in his upper 20s

Goalies don't always peak in their upper 20's some do in their mid-30's.

He's certainly a viable option -- IMHO. I don't think he's going to unseat the current top three, but it's nice to have depth.

I saw Casey played for the USA in the last Olympics, he was our striker, we lost in the semi-finals to Spain 2-0 so his about Donovan age, he also played for Clive Charles with the Portland University

"It is always a little bit sad not to play with your country when games are going on, but at the same time it works to your benefit so when a game does come along you don't get stale or anything of that nature because it seems a little bit like a new experience all over again."
-- U.S. goalkeeper Brad Friedel on returning to the national team for the first time since the 2002 World Cup for today's friendly in Plock, Poland (ESPN2, live, 1:30 pm ET/10:30 am PT.)

"After taking two months off, I find it incredibly rewarding and feel very appreciative to be back with the national team. I felt like I needed some time to refocus and renew the passion and motivation I had to play the game of soccer."
-- U.S. defender Pablo Mastroeni, a 2002 World Cup veteran.

Commentary from my 12/yr old at home watching game:
Quote:
Casey is BIG!
Beasley = awsum
glad to have BIG BRAD in the net!

90/mins 1st cap for Casey, guess Bruce is getting a real good look at him,

My prediction for Beasley---------last year in MLS, he will be in Europe next year.
