just finshed watching the game on HDNET and wow does the US MNT look like Shit. I'm convinced more than ever that Armas can't play at the international level any longer. How many more games do we have to watch him continually give the ball away?

for sure but we've looked horrible so far. I really hate our style of play, we need to attack much more and not just on the counter.

U.S. SOCCER: USA ties Haiti on stoppage-time goal
The USA was in danger of suffering one of its most embarrassing defeats in history when Danny Califf chested the ball into the Haitian goal four minutes into stoppage time to secure a 1-1 tie in Saturday’s friendly at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
The Haitians, who have been training in Florida under American coach Fernando Clavijo while Haiti endures violent political unrest, are preparing for their World Cup qualifying series in June against Jamaica.
Alexander Boucicot put Haiti ahead in the 69th minute after beating U.S. keeper Kevin Hartman from 16 yards to the low left corner after Wasdon Coriolan had slipped a pass from midfield through the U.S. defense.
In the first half, a header by Bruny Pierre-Richard beat U.S. keeper Jonny Walker, but referee Peter Prendergast nullified the goal for a Haitian foul.
Seconds before halftime, U.S. defender Cory Gibbs saw his header cleared off the line by Coriolan.
Califf, who replaced Eddie Pope in the U.S. central defense in the 75th minute, scored the equalizer by diving to a pass across the goal by Carlos Bocanegra and chesting into the open net from two yards out following a free kick from midfield.
"I thought Haiti was the better team tonight. They simply outfought us and played better," said U.S. coach Bruce Arena. "I applaud our group that played the final 15 minutes for fighting back and getting an equalizer."
"There's no excuses. We were technically poor and our fitness was poor. We are fortunate that we have until June [for World Cup qualifying] to get our act together. Human nature likes to find a comfort zone, and we have guys in a comfort zone. All the credit goes to Haiti. The Haitian team brought a commitment to the game and outfought us."
U.S. keepers Walker and Hartman combined for six saves while Haiti’s Fenelon Gabard made three.
The U.S. next travels to face Poland on March 31 in Plock.

USA vs Poland, March 31
.S. SOCCER: Bruce Arena names roster for March 31 Poland game
Coach Bruce Arena has named nine foreign-based and 10 MLS players to his 19-man roster for a March 31 friendly against Poland in Plock, Poland (1:30 pm ET, live on ESPN2).
Included in a U.S. roster for the first time since the 2002 World Cup is goalkeeper Brad Friedel.
"With the crowded club schedule and the approach of the MLS season, we are fortunate to assemble a group of players like this," said Arena, who is still looking for his first win in Europe since becoming U.S. coach in 1998. "It's always a great benefit to get as much of our team together as possible, and the match in Poland will certainly be a good test for us as we move closer and closer to our World Cup qualifying schedule."
Ten players on the current roster were part of the USA's run to the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup, with six of them having played against Poland in the 3-1 loss in South Korea.
One uncapped player, Conor Casey, is on the roster.

1. U.S. SOCCER: USA looks for first win of 2004 vs. Poland tomorrow
POLAND vs. USA
Wednesday, March 31 in Plock, Poland
ESPN2 (live) 1:30 pm/10:30 am
The USA plays its fourth game of 2004, Wednesday in Poland. The Poles beat the USA, 3-1, in their final group game of the 2002 World Cup. Poland had already been eliminated at that point and the USA advanced to the second round despite the loss thanks to a South Korean victory over Portugal.
* NO U.S. WIN YET IN 2004. In its three games so far in 2004, all friendlies, the USA tied Denmark (1-1), lost the Netherlands (0-1) and tied Haiti (1-1)
* DEFENDER OUT. Cory Gibbs has left the U.S. camp because of an intestinal problem and will not be replaced. Late last week, forward Landon Donovan (flu) and Chris Armas (strained right hip flexor) were replaced by defender Tony Sanneh and midfielder Chris Klein.
* FRIEDEL BACK. The 17-man roster includes 10 European-based players, including keeper Brad Friedel, who hasn't been with the team since starting every minute of the USA's five World Cup 2002 games.
* REMATCH: Six players on the U.S. roster played in the USA's 3-1 loss to Poland at the 2002 World Cup -- Brad Friedel, Clint Mathis, Brian McBride, Claudio Reyna, Tony Sanneh and DaMarcus Beasley.
* CASEY'S HOT. The U.S. roster includes one uncapped player, 22-year-old forward Conor Casey of Germany's Karlsruhe. With 12 goals, Casey is the third leading scorer in the German Second Division.
* REYNA NEARS 100. U.S. captain Claudio Reyna is set to earn his 99th U.S. cap on Wednesday. Six players in U.S. Soccer history have reached 100 caps.
* POLES ON ROLL. Poland failed to qualify for the 2004 European Championship, but has won its last seven games, the last six of which were friendlies and included wins over Italy (3-1) and Hungary (2-1).
* HEAD TO HEAD: The USA has played more games with Poland than with any other European nation. The Poles lead the series with seven wins, four losses and one tie.
* COACH BRUCE ARENA SAYS: "It's an important game because I have a chance to evaluate players. With only three more matches before World Cup qualifying begins, we're getting down to crunch time."
