I wish I did. HD TV is great, but I've yet to see a soccer match on it.

Fulham defender Carlos Bocanegra was the only Europe-base player selected when U.S. coach Bruce Arena announced his 18-man roster Thursday for a March 13 exhibition game against Haiti.
Forwards Landon Donovan, Jovan Kirovski and Ante Razov were picked for the game in Miami. Seventeen players come from Major League Soccer, including three each from Chicago, Los Angeles and the MetroStars.

That is seriously going to make Bocanegra very tired.

Pat Noonan has gotten three call-ups, but has yet to play. If Bruce Arena is impressed, why hasn't he given him playing time?

Why has Wolyniec gotten playing time when Noonan hasn't? Plus, Arena seems to be trying out Noonan at midfield in trainging when it's obvious he's best at forward. Get rid of Wolyniec and give Noonan a shot at his real posistion.

Based on the players called in for this camp, it looks as though Arena plans to employ a 3-5-2 formation. From what I know of these players and their strengths, it would only make sense. Though, the main reason I deduct this is that there are no natural right-backs on this squad.
Despite the recent troubles in Haiti this match is expected to take place as expected. The Haitian team has already been in Miami for 11 days since they won their Concacaf World Cup Qualifier first leg 5-0 over Turks and Caicos Islands.
Here is how I expect the US to line up:
In goal
I expect Walker to start based on his performance verus Denmark in January. He was solid and Arena will likely want to get him more experience in goal internationally, especially against a team it is possible we might meet down the road in qualifying.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hartman is brought in at halftime, though.
My pick to start: Walker
In defense
As I said above, I expect a 3-man back line. If Pope is fully recovered from the sudden illness he suffered just before the team left the hotel in Holland, I expect him to start along side Bocanegra and Gibbs. If not, Califf is his likely replacement.
If Pope is fit to start, I expect Califf to come in off the bench at some point for any of the 3 starters.
My picks to start: Gibbs - Pope - Bocanegra
In midfield
In the 5-man midfield, Arena will likely employ two defensive midfielders to cover behind an attacking midfielder in the middle.
The 2-man d-mid unit will likely be Armas and Mastroeni. Mulrooney will most likely come in off the bench for either of the two. In front of them, I expect to see young Bobby Convey in the attacking central midfield role.
Out wide, we will see Beasley on the left and Ralston on the right. Noonan is a natural forward, but on the squad list released to the press he is listed as a midfielder. It is likely Arena will see what he can do out wide, most likely in the subs role.
My picks to start: Ralston - Armas - Convey - Mastroeni - Beasley
Up front
Up front, I expect Donovan and Kirovski to start. Razov will likely come in off the bench for Kirovski. Though, it is possible we might see Noonan come off the bench if Arena doesn't use him in midfield.
My picks to start: Kirovski - Donovan
Recap
Walker
Gibbs - Pope - Bocanegra
Armas - Mastroeni
Ralston - Convey - Beasley
Kirovski - Donovan
Possible subs
Hartman for Walker
Califf for Gibbs/Pope/Bocanegra
Mulrooney for Armas/Mastroeni
Noonan for Ralston/Kirovski
Razov for Kirovski

Future of US Soccer
How strong is the U.S youth development system?
Will the U.S ever be mentioned in the same breath with the likes of the traditional soccer nations such as Brazil, Argentina, Germany, England, Netherlands, etc.
Will Freddy Adu make an impact to soccer in this country the way Tiger Woods did to golf?
I would like to hear some opinions.

Youth player development in the the US is making steps in the right direction, though still in its infant stages.
Quite a few professional teams at different levels are just beginning to impliment levels of youth development, like DC United, Chicago Fire, Richmond Kickers, MetroStars, to name a few. Though currently, most of the best young players are fostered through the National team residency program.
There is also Project-40, which is a joint organization between MLS and US Soccer aiming to provide pre-college and college age players an enviroment in which they train and play professionally week in week out, while providing them with tuition for school while they learn the game professionally.
Most players tend to play college ball before entering the US professional ranks, though there are a few exceptions.
I would say in the past 10 or so years, US player develpment has done a commendable job with the limited resources it has had, and it's only getting better.
