Sky Blue Adds Griffin to Attack
Speedy Forward Joins Team from Colorado
BEDMINSTER, NJ - APRIL 27, 2007
Sky Blue Soccer announced an addition to the attacking arsenal for its expansion W-League team today with the signing of Katie Griffin to Jersey Sky Blue. Griffin joins Sky Blue following a successful career at the University of Colorado. The speedy forward was also a member of the United States Under-21 National Team in 2006.
The Scottsdale, AZ native recently closed out a solid four-year career at Colorado leaving the Buffaloes as the school’s all-time leading goal- scorer. Despite missing time due to a knee injury, Griffin scored five goals last fall during her senior year to finish her career with 32 goals
