Decision for Dorrance upheld on appeal

The decision by U.S. District Judge N. Carlton Tilley Jr. to throw out a lawsuit by former University of North Carolina player Melissa Jennings against women’s coach Anson Dorrance was upheld in a 2-1 decision by a federal appeals court.
The appeals court dismissed Jennings' claim that Dorrance's vulgar language and inappropriate comments to players created a sexually hostile educational environment.
Jennings, a former walk-on, and UNC star Debbie Keller filed a civil suit alleging sexual harassment against Dorrance, members of the women’s soccer staff and members of the UNC administration for $12 million in 1998.
In 2004, UNC agreed to pay Keller $70,000 to settle the case, and Dorrance, was required to apologize to Keller and to take part in annual sensitivity programs for the next eight years.

U20 Casey Nogueira the daughter of Mozambique/Portuguese Vitor Nogueira scored the winning goal for North Carolina, she also scored in the semi finals, and that's only here freshmen year

Casey Nogueira the daugher of Vitor Nogueira a keeper the played in South Africa and later one of the best keepers in the profissional indoor league

she the daughter of Mozambique/portuguese Vitor Nogueira, like Carlos Queiroz born in Mozambique, later fled to South African and later to the United States
here father played outside soccer but made a name with the Indoor soccer
