Hello there! In order to apply to Rutgers University, you must submit:

- a completed application
- application fee
- original or certified, true copies of high school records
- original or certified, true copies of college records
- SAT I or ACT scores (if you are applying as a freshman or are a transfer student applying to the College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, or School of Engineering) sent directly form the testing agency
- TOEFL Scores sent directly form the testing agency (acceptable scores are 550+ on the written TOEFL and a 213+ on the computer-based test)
- International Student Financial Statement (if you will hold a student visa)
- bank letter (if you will hold a student visa)
- International Student Adviser's Report (if you have already studied in the US)

Please note that photocopies of documents will not be accepted.

You can fill our an application right online, at: http://admissions.rutgers.edu. Be sure to download the additional information for international applicants!

Unfortunately, financial aid is not available to international students. If you will hold a student visa while at Rutgers, you will need to submit documentation that you or a sponsor can provide $28,500 US Dollars per year for your education. I suggest you visit the following web page, which contains helpful information about obtaining financial aid for study in the US: http://www.edupass.org/finaid/.

I got this from COLHENRY and i now emailed the head soccer coach there.

Yeh i heard a lot of bad things about Newark.

I was wondering if there is any colleges around or near either Newark/Franklin. Also in around close to NYC would be good as i have a friend living who i can visit easily.

As USS suggested above heading upstate im definally willing to do and have applied to all them you gave me. If you got any good ones around where i suggested it be great too thx

Princeton's soccer program is nothing special either. If you're smart and into soccer Brown is the way to go.

UCONN another great possibility located near NYC and not too far from Boston. Many MLS players played at UCONN.

Did find Brown was ranked 11th in '04. They've produced players such as Corey Gibbs.

UCONN's site
http://www.uconn.edu/

Not the hardest school (but still plenty hard), but wide variety of class choices, a huge campus and an Excellent soccer program.

If you're interested in Division 2, Bryant's ranked 5th in New England for D2 soccer and someone at my school recently received a full soccer scholarship there. They're a great buisness school with a new communications department. My sister goes there and they're close to Boston and Providence. Not too far from NYC.

Yeh just applied there now mate

Thanks, i reckon i got a better chance at 2nd div but obviously there advantages each div. I like to play at the highest level.

Also got this reply back from:

Rutgers Newark does not provide scholarships for soccer. It is a division III school. If you are looking for a scholarship you should try the New Brunswick Campus of Rutgers. Try to contact their soccer coach not their athletic trainer. http://www.scarletknights.com/ Good Luck

Chris

Does anyone know how much a year it would be to go there and study but along with playing football?
