Montreal rally past Seattle to advance
Vancouver, Rochester hold on to win series despite losses
Montreal rallied from a 2-1 deficit in leg one to defeat the Seattle Sounders 3-2 on aggregate with a 3-1 victory at home that ended with a late series winner. Rochester gave up an early goal in Charleston, but their two-goal first leg advantage proved enough for a 2-1 series victory. Minnesota scored three unanswered to win 4-3, but were unable to overcome the two goal hole, falling to Vancouver 5-4 on aggregate

Friday, September 26: The first night of the two-leg, aggregate score USL-1 Quarterfinals opened with Rochester reversing a three-game season sweep by the Battery by posting a 2-0 lead as the series headed to Charleston Sunday. Vancouver took advantage of an own goal and doubled the advantage for a 2-0 lead headed to Minnesota. In Seattle, the defending champions finished with a 2-1 series lead against Montreal.
