not heard anything about Queeley, but Marcina is still in negotiations.

The kid wanted a senior roster slot from DC, which comes to about $30,000 and got offered a development contract instead, about $17k - 12k. I think he was probably offered something between $30k - $20k by the Islanders, for that money he should be a starter, if not he will probably still play alot of games, it seem that Toribio as been trying to get new younger talent on the team, we saw that in the CFU Cup, bringing in kids that are still or have not yet hit their prime. The defense has always been a problem, which has been neglected because the quality of our keeper kept it in check, but now that Kennedy is gone, it seem that all the new signing or potential signings have been centered around the defense and defensive mids.
On another note, theres gona probably be announcements of the new roster between next week or the week after that.

As of Last year there was 11 USA player and 6 PR player the rest where 3 Argentinians, 4 Chileans, 2 Ecuadorians, 1 Haitian and 1 Salvadorian. Thats not counting the player added or leaving from the CFU CC onwards.

Someone told me that Queeley signed with one of the teams that participate in the Southern Derby.

O yeah and Marcina signed with PR again. Terry Boss is the new main goalkeeper with Marcos Rodriguez a Puerto Rican as second, Alberto Delgado a Cuban and a ex Rapids player has been signed, potential signings could be Goran Vujanovic a Croatian and several Islanders B players, also theres been talk about wto mysterious atacking midies that are being signed

I am glad marcina signed with PR and not Charleston. They need forwards badly and I was afraid he would end up there. Queeley is not with Charleston.
