Fs and my mouth,
Glen Johnson was poor, Malouda goal was great, Ben Haim to blame for the first goal, 1-1 draw loosing on penalties , Mikel was poor a long side Essien, Maka was greatly needed, no forward sucked in first half, Pizarro didn't do much better nd half, motm was SWP, though A.Cole did nothing wrong, was good link up play, was very pleased.
Nice warm up, we lost it last year and won two things, but we are fucked with injuries going into season.
I don't know how bad Drogba is but, him,Terry,Bridge,Ballack,Sheva,Robben,Maka,Kalou, last year all over again but worse, god forbid Cech get hit again .
Well done to Utd, though beatign us on Penalties, is hardly tough. Extra time, we would of beat you, nm rather have three points beat you in league.

Idiot, or reflecting on his team like a manger, hmmmm.
Oh I think United fans should be more happy they didn't see Terry and Drogba today/got one over on us be it penalties then winning this meaningless trophy.
This makes you record holders of it, Congratz.

Hardly worth comparing to Chelsea's injuries. No matter how you put it, Chelsea had more out. Terry, Robben, Drogba, Kalou, Ballack, Shevchenko, Maka, Kalou and Bridge. Then you consider Lampard who's slightly injured, but still can play.

I hope his world class performance in the penalty shoot-out hides what a real problem you've got in the goalkeeper position.
Man Utd's defense still looks shaky, I think if Drogba were on, they'd have a tough time handling him. Rooney, did he play? Haha. C.Ronaldo had a mediocre game at best. I'm quite satisfied with Chelsea's performance. We played 51 minutes without a striker. Our defense looks able to cope with the loss of Terry, and with the impending addition of Alex, I'm confident that we'll be fine. I do have a few concerns however. I think we've really got to put in a bid for Alves. Glen Johnson and Ferreira are both decent, but I think that weakness in RB was really laid bare to see when United incessantly attacked it. SWP needs to work on his crossing, but I think he'll come good this season. Lampard must have been chatting with Rooney or something because he was non-existent. He's got to get back to his good form. The biggest problem with Chelsea though is our complete lack of creative play. That's largely due to the lack of a playmaker. We need someone creative who has a good range of passing and can put in those through balls when we need them. If we're going to stop playing 'survival football', then we've got to get a playmaker.

I was quite impressed HK, on fact the team out yesterday only had barely 1 day barely getting use to the team, JM knowing a day before a game he got 9 players out and at half time 4 players with knocks , it's all most laughable, bur legend he is, no worries no fear, so I'm gonna stay confident team did very well, if we had extra time we would of won.
Us and penalties hehe, three very porley taking penalties.
