Tuesday, 16 January 2007
Barnsley v Southend, 19:45
Coventry v Bristol City, 19:45
Ipswich v Chester, 19:45
Luton v QPR, 19:45
Man City v Sheff Wed, 19:45
Middlesbrough v Hull, 20:00
Oldham v Wolverhampton, 19:45
Plymouth v Peterborough, 19:45

Wednesday, 17 January 2007
Fulham v Leicester, 19:45
Newcastle v Birmingham, 20:00
Tottenham v Cardiff, 20:00

I'm not confident of us progressing past Chester. We're struggling to put the ball away, there won't be an atmosphere as the attendance is expected to be poor even with discounted prices after our awful showing at the Honda Stadium.

Only surprise I can see there is Oldham possibly beating Wolves, with all the other favourites being at home.

Newcastle v Birmingham will be shown live on the BBC. Goals from the Tuesday night games will also been shown.

Damn irritating that we have to play a replay against B'ham when we had one more player than them and being in full controll.

On the bright side: One more match to look forward to see. You will beat them at home.

Never looking forward to a game with Matty Pattison in the starting lineup.

He looks (and plays) like he won a fans competition for a place in the team.

I'm surprised he doesn't insist on playing topless with a can of Newcy Brown Ale in his hand.

Living testament to that peculiarly Mancunian talent for gazing at the world in all it's wonder, thinking for a minute, and then muttering "Nah that's bollocks. This is how we'll do it..."

OH OH OOH! It's Carrick you know! Hard to believe it's not Scholes!

Well we're through to the 4th round. I don't think I've listened to a football match that uneventful in my life. Very poor game, we waste numerous chances, Bruce & Naylor were shaky at the heart of defence & Bruce stupidly got his 10th booking of the season.
