Christian Bale to star in 'Terminator' | Movie Biz | Hollywood Insider | EW.com

The film will be called "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins". Bale will take on the John Connor role with McG directing and Halcyon producing for Warner Bros.

What do you people think? Is this guys career on fire or what?

Batman Begins and now this franchise....money, money, money!

Christian has already begun filming the first film, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

The film is set to debut on May 22, 2009.

Terminator has run its course I feel, I hope this isnt a bad move for Bale because he is a good actor.

It's a great choice for the part. Well it would be if it was based on Ed Furlong in the first two, Bale looks slightly like him. Completely different look to the idiot they cast in the 3rd one.

While i tend to agree that the Terminator films have run their course, people said the same about Batman and Bale has done a great job at reviving the Batman series.
