I'm sure not many of you watch it bc it's a soap, but i do and i like it. So does Jec1

News has it that John Black will die and leave the show in the next few weeks.
Chloe will return sometime in November for 2 years.

Also, i heard that Sami (Allison Sweeney) will also leave the show as well. Hope that's not true. She's great.

Days has also bene rumored to end in 2009 as NBC may not renew the contract. Seeing as so many long time stars are leaving...i think it's true.

Haha, I haven't watched it in the past months, but it is my guilty pleasure when I get around to watch it.

As for the show, they need to show some nudity if they ever want ratings. I compare it to the WWE, same recycled storylines, need some drama....show some blood, and create interesting characters.

True...they need to get better looking women on the show though. The girls are decent, but i like to see gorgeous women on soaps. Bc when they do a love scene...it can be very seductive lol

The problem with the storylines is that everything that can be imaged has already been done. There's no creativity anymore. But i am an avid watcher. I record every episode and watch it while i have my dinner

My sister watches it religiously, everytime I pick up my niece, I'm forced to watch the show. I hear they're thinking of cancelling it because of low ratings but don't they know soap's have a loyal fanbase, they still can make money.

It seems all the good shows get forced out!

Ya, they are most likely going to cancel it in 2009. It's a shame too. NBC cancelled Passions a few years back due to low ratings and now Days. Days has been on the air for over 40 years. The past few years, they've tried to increase ratings by firing/hiring new writers, new producers, brought back past stars and still the rating are low. Some weeks Days can reach a top 3 behind Y&R and GH. And at times surpass them.

Don't know is there is any barring to it but NBC shouldn't cancel tradition. Ratings are dumb, Y&R always gets high number because of their timeslot, while other shows in the afternoon suffer only because people use their DVR and watch it in a later period. Plus,days has been on forever. I remember as a teen watching the show with my parents, sisters....It was embarassing but I loved it.

I must admit friday's episode kept me interested. I wonder who shot E.J wells.

My sister has a whole collection of past days, it's funny how she always watches them in reruns, I think she's fond of the romances like PHLOE!

Also, I hear chloe(nadia bjorin) is coming back, if that's true....I'm happy! She told me that dax griffin will be playing the role of Jeremy horton, the guy is a good actor, so it looks like the writers are going all out for more storylines.

Jeremy Horton was axed from the show a month ago...it would be really cool if dax griffin came on in the role.

Ya, Chloe returns in a few weeks...she's supposed to have a storyline with Belle, Shawn and Phillip. I never liked her that much...but ah well. She will probably come back for Belle and Shawns wedding.

I like this EJ storyline...The main suspects are Lucas, Roman and Kate. Kate is the primary suspect, but i doubt it was her. In typical Days fashion, it will not be either of them who shot him.

EJ is a cool dude on the show...but i preferred him when he was evil...like when he shot John.

Me too. I have two older sisters and they got me hooked. I'm a fan of the Dimera's.

Stefano is fantastic, but i miss the old days when the Dimera's were a big family and caused trouble for the Brady's.

My sister says, NBC bought oxygen network. It looks like by the end of 2009 -- DOOL will switch networks.

Also, I hear E.J wells will be killed off, true or not?

So far, I think this week has been good, the writing has been top notch but it's sad to see they being in the bottom when they should be in the top three.
