ARE YOU MAD?????
would a poor player
do as good as a brilliant one?
Kolo has been our best defender this season
(and Campbell has had probably his best year!)
Kolo is immense, strong fast and hard
as well as being a great footballer on the ball
Ledley King is rubbish
no concentration, no positional sense, no tackling ability, no strength, not dominant enough in the air, quick on the flat, but too slow to turn
no comparison imo

I thought they were basically on the same level but you have made some fair points. But I do think Ledley King is a good reader of the game and his debut for England against Portugal was promising.

no way
honestly Kolo has been nothing short of a revelation
thought it was a toss of a coin between him and John Terry
for young player of the year
but the January voting suited Parker
thats when he was at the peak of his form

thankyou very much cantona7, ledley king is a good player, and so is gardner, I think Gardner probably has the advantage over king because of his height, and being left sided, but I still think they are both very good players. saying that they are shit would honestly only come form a gooner!

or any1 who has seen them play
good 2 c u have firmed up your defence
by signing the keeper that conceded more goals than any other
narcolepesy king, and concentrationlapse gardner have ability
but they are brainless tactically, positionally poor and easily dominated

was thinking they could stick Robbie Keane out on the left, originally a playmaker, he could play a Pires type role.
King and Gardner can be summed up with two words: Decidedly Average

keane def has enough ability
but he's one of those journeymen players
a serial philanderer
in the 'honeymoon period' he's eager 2please
works, tracks, provides and is unselfish
but as he gets bored and his eye starts wondering
he's no use as a partner
and just thinks of himself

Agreed, that's why he needs to be transformed into the playmaker he can be. I think he's prob expecting to be sold this summer, he's been at Spurs for 2 years, that's a long time for him.

Robbie Keane - one of the only players to leave ER who I still admire a great deal and hold in high regard, as a footballer and as a person.
He left us with his dignity fully intact. When he scored against us this season he refused to celebrate the goal; not wanting to rub salt in the wound - same against Wolves on Saturday and for previous clubs before us.
Applaudable attitude to have IMO. That kind of humility is hard to find in the modern game. Will always wish success and fulfillment on him.
It's very rare for a Leeds supporter to say this of an ex-player but quite righty I have a lot of time for this fella.

Not really when you consider the circumstances they left in/what happened/what their agents did/what they said.
Hasslepiggybaink, t Ra It Or, Bowyer, Kewellthief, Bridges, and now Smith.
We are fanatical to the last.
