Default Spurs keep tabs on Redondo

Fernando Redondo is looking increasingly likely to leave Milan in the summer, with Tottenham the latest club to show an interest in the Argentinian midfielder, according to sources in Italy.
The precociously talented South American has had a dreadful experience in Italy after sustaining a serious knee injury just a few days after joining the Rossoneri in the summer of 2000.

As his contract is due to expire this June, it is unlikely Milan will offer a renewal, and Bolton Wanderers were also linked with a move for the 34-year-old during the January transfer window.

Redondo, formerly with Real Madrid, has been dubbed one of the most gifted players of his generation, and is also a man of some stature. Such was his dismay at missing two seasons of football in Milan that he agreed to greatly reduce his salary.

- Redondo was a king in Spain, and he was one of the best players in the world that time. We all remember him at Old Trafford 4 years ago.
But no I think he is finished with he's career. He is bother with injure's.

It's not going to happen. Santini has already signed 3 Central Midfieders this season and he won't be buying another when it's clearly evident we need wingers and possibly another striker.

Redondo is too old now anyway, he's the sort of player you expect Big Sam to sign.

JD, I get the feeling you are extremely anti-Tottenham. Why?

Hammers fans hate our guts aswell. They won't be causing a conflict at the lane for a while yet though.
