Mourinho drops spurs hint....
FC Porto coach Jose Mourinho has reiterated his desire to one day manage in the Premiership, sparking fresh speculation that Tottenham Hotspur could make a move in the summer.
The North London club are on the lookout for a new manager following Glenn Hoddle’s sacking earlier this season.
David Pleat was put in charge on a temporary basis until the end of the campaign, but the club are eager to appoint a high-profile coach in the summer.
Mourinho is rated as one of the hottest young coaches in the game, and it would be a major coup should Spurs persuade him to move to White Hart Lane.
And their chances of doing just that have increased, after Mourinho admitted to Sky Sports that he has ambitions on managing in the Premiership.
"If somebody is really interested I'm always happy to speak about it,” said Mourinho. ”I can't imagine terminating my career without having tried that (an overseas) experience, maybe in England."
