Now Bale & Dawson will miss three games as well, Corluka I hear has been given the all-clear for Udinese on Thursday though.
There are so many problems, but confidence is undoubtedly the main one. I dont think the team feels like it is capable of scoring first in games. Bent got a decent poacher's goal at Stoke but he is miles off the pace, he was actually lucky not to be flagged offside for it which was typical of his poor movement and awareness. Pavlyuchenko might be adapting, but Spurs cant wait forever for that, he looks well short of what they need.
Modric for me was absolutely terrible on Sunday, and it didnt surprise me one bit. Fabulously talented footballer, but at the wrong club at the wrong time. Spurs simply cant afford to carry a player like that, especially with Jenas reverting to type this season and playing like he has never seen a football before. Bentley hasnt performed yet either, and both Lennon & Giovani are playing only in fits and starts (Lennon was their best player on Sunday if you ask me). They dont have a strong midfield presence- Zokora is barely a footballer, never mind a good one, Huddlestone is not mobile enough to hold a midfield alone and their keeper is still a clown.
I still dont think Ramos will, or should, be sacked. He might walk though, especially if they get a pasting at Udinese. And they might.
