Default Middlesboro 2 - 1 Tottenham (EPL 16.8.2008)

Mido comes back to bite Spurs in a 2-1 loss to Boro. The truth is there isn't much shame in losing when half the team are new and haven't played together yet in the Prem. An own goal for Boro got us the goal so we aren't even off the mark yet, but it's early days.

With players like Modric, Giovani and Bentley you would think that they would get at least one goal.

Minor setback but I'm sure Juande will get you guys back on track. For your sake you guys better hope that the new players get used to the EPL quickly or it could be another disappointing season again. Tho I don't see that happening.

yeah I agree they should have scored at least one goal but it usually takes 2 - 3 games for foreigners to settle in especially since so many of the team are new to playing together.

Ramos is a great manager and I think he'll get it sorted out quickly. The big problem for me is the Berbs situation. Having him on the bench because he's probably leaving is a problem. They need to come to a decision there ASAP and move forward with the long term squad. I hate that situation.

I thought Giovani was your best player, he tried to create something out of nothing. mad esome good runs but with no reward.
